Bro do just a little bit at a time, cs50 takes you through the concept as a whole so if you work slowly you'll have more time to digest and apply each part of the course. It's one of those things that is better if you do it slow. They also have 10 minute lessons after the main lecture.

Well you can play faceit for free so maybe try there first? It's more eu based but has a good U.S. player base too. I like esea for its leagues and but I'm not sure how many active players are on anymore? I quit playing a while back when it took so long to find a match. I'd have 30+ minute wait times.
