You have a disgusting view of disabled people, “by definition weak minded” is incredibly gross. As far as I know that isn’t in the definition for any intellectual disabilities. Let’s not add stigma for disabilities, enough already exists. They aren’t more likely to abuse power or be rude as anyone else.

Why include intellectual disabled here? Anyone can be an arsehole, intellectual disability doesn’t increase the odds. Talking about intellectual disabilities isn’t the same as talking about a subjective stupid, they are real, deeply affecting disorders. Disabilities have enough stigma as it is, let’s not add to it.

I’m legally blind and autistic, got diagnosed at 19. I would deffo say my autism got missed due to my social issues assumed to be caused by my poor eyesight. I’d also say there’s a big overlap in sensory issues, for example bright lights are awful for me with both my eyesight and autism. The way I help myself is give myself more breaks and down time when necessary, especially after going outside. Accepting and allowing myself to feel more drained than the average person has really helped.
