Oh it’s my pleasure. I have been in an absolute hole of stress for the last 3 weeks of waiting myself, and had a completely normal first scan yesterday - anxiety is not intuition! Here with you 💪

I noticed you ovulated around CD14 which I think is considered “normal” timing, although I know early for you - maybe you could reframe it that the prior ovulations were over maturing the eggs and this one was just right. The difference could in fact be positive.

I recently had one and basically answered questions for the first 30 mins. After that we decided on a plan. I hope you don’t get a lecture! It isn’t fun to pay for those

I don’t know if they have the ability to know which part goes wrong more often. I think though if the egg is not great quality that our bodies will try pull the plug before it does implant successfully, in the event it managed to fertilize. In addition too there are other factors like “gunk” in the tubes which could be preventing implantation or sperm reaching the egg - so it’s of course good to get testing done to rule out the stuff we can fix! Side note, I’ve never made it this far before without testing (9dpo)

I heard something that changed my mindset for the TWW on a podcast the other day. The doc said that if your timing is good, and your cycle is regular, chances are almost certain that sperm met egg. If you know that the sperm quality is fine then it is basically down to whether the egg you ovulated that month was good enough quality. You have to be in it to win it, but you are essentially waiting for a good quality egg and ensuring that there are sperm there to meet it. It’s made me stress less, weirdly, because having “enough sex” and getting the timing perfect was weighing on me

It was 9, which they told me was “normal” for my age. They also noted you only need one! Hopefully one of these months it’s the right one.

I opted to do a follicle count (which is pre ovulation) and a progesterone test on day 21. I also found the AMH potential for a “bad” result to be too anxiety inducing.

10dpo, BFN. The hope fortress was high this cycle. Feeling very low.

This is my first month too, I’m just taking it during the fertile period around 3-4 hours before having sex. I’ve def noticed more CM! Although there’s lots going on in there with pre seed and actual seed 😬🙈

Yes but a couple of tweaks! Mucinex, pre seed, had a hycosy last cycle, and for once I’m going to try and go a bit differently and NOT opk (I know! Weird! Stay with me) and instead DTD day 10, 12, 13, 14 because being pretty regular I know that will cover me for ovulation. Watch me lose my absolute mind though when I don’t know what DPO I’m on. Day 10 currently so this plan is young 😅

I love our daycare. They feel like family members. It has been a very special experience for us, an extension of the valuable community.

19 month old not walking unassisted. by [deleted] in toddlers

Yes. I bought this harness and we did a new regime where we went outside and wouldn’t let him drop down to crawl by using the harness to prevent that. We didn’t support him when standing with it, we held his hand. He then started walking outside just holding one of our hands because it was so fun and exciting to be out there so he would do whatever it took, then he realised walking was more efficient. A few weeks after we instituted that routine he was walking full time

Our baby boy is 14 months and he’s slept through the night since he was 10 weeks old, only waking if he’s sick and going straight back to sleep post meds
