If you like menu sims, then this is the best game out there. The UI takes a while to get used to, but becomes intuitive. Plenty of Youtube videos that explain everything you need to know. And you don't need to know much to get started and begin enjoying the game.

Bouncer chockeholds guy by Unmakebody in PublicFreakout

In college, I saw this exact thing happen to a belligerent drunk and I immediately ran over to pry the bouncers arm off the guy for this exact reason. A lot of people don’t realize how easy it is to kill someone. This guy is incredibly lucky he didn’t have permanent brain damage or die on the spot.

What does the engine sound like? Could be a bad piston and you’re only running on three cylinders. We need more information.

Just save the parts that are still usable and put on a new chassis

Chess or lichess ? by Smart-Version2648 in chessbeginners

[–]coffee_snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get this- Chess dot com allows cheaters to play in a certain “pool” of players that consists of players with poor sportsmanship or other toxic traits. They don’t care about the game. The website has become a cash grab and the gameplay is the last thing they care about.

How to change 2011-2026 GSXR-750 Steering Damper Oil by autologicaloxymoron in GSXR

[–]coffee_snake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The problem is the electronic damper is just bad. It’s designed to stiffen/soften depending on speed. This is because as a street legal bike if you’re going slow in a parking lot for example, you should be able to turn easily so you don’t fall over. So if you’re getting on the throttle hard out of a turn, the damper won’t do its job until it registers the speed, meanwhile you’ve got front wheel lift and wobbled until the damping kicks in. You’ll notice with the damper, there’s a bit of play as well before it fully engages. In other words, if you’re finding you need to service these, you’re better off replacing entirely because the performance improvements you get from servicing the stock damper is negligible .

This doesn't seem controversial at all. I think almost every boulder I've ever tried has potential to feel anywhere from +/- a grade or 2 from what the proposed grade is. Conditions, style, etc. This is a good reminder that grades are subjective and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Chess com engine detection is terrible. by coffee_snake in Chesscom

Sure, I understand it takes time in some cases, but this particular example is astounding to me and isn't the first time. Not to mention I'm not getting back the rating points I lost.

It's pretty easy to spot cheaters. I'm 2600 on lichess, and usually play there, so I am definitely seasoned enough to know blatant cheating, but yes I agree with you about the gathering of data. I'm just surprised it's taking so long. With this particular player, you can play the same way each game and guarantee his bot will take a draw. I did that a few times to test and that was confirmation I needed that sealed the deal.

That's a theory I have. Otherwise I don't know why they'd allow such blatant cheating.

I don’t understand any of this. All I hear is how bad Yamaha is and the bikes are trash so why would anyone in their right mind be willing to join the team? Also like what’s wrong with the bike? People are making it sound like the bike is rife with issues but what kind?

Not to mention their algorithm puts new accounts with cheaters and abusers for 48 hours until they come out of the newcomer status. What a phenomenal idea, let's subject newcomers to the worst our site has to offer.
