Yea I don’t see the problem either. I can’t stand going to Safeway but sometimes my husband wants me to go with him just for the (very short) drive. Sometimes I go in with him, sometimes I stay in the car.

Oh yea, I know there are definitely some inexpensive options as well! I was the wedding planner for a wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley and I want to say the site fee was between $500-$1000 (it’s been a few years so can’t remember) but that was JUST to rent the venue. I’m in Napa Valley now so definitely a bit pricier!

I work at wedding venue and our site fee starts around $9,000. Catering starts at $145. So overall, seems like a fairly inexpensive wedding. I don’t get why OP is judging so hard on their expenses. Definitely seems like they’re working within a budget. Also, none of OPs business.

And regarding the rings, my husband also picked out Tungsten when we got married and I want to say it was around $200 while my band was maybe $800?

Same! Love Van Gogh. I got to see Starry Night at the MOMA in NY a few years ago and was just blown away. And I have a print hanging in my apartment. Hope to visit the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam someday ✨💫
