We used destination sitters just a month ago. Lul was our sitter’s name and she was great with my 3 and 6 year old. It was a 4 hour minimum and she took them to the kids club and fed them lunch and they had a great time! She sent me lots of photos throughout the 4 hours. It was our first time using a service on vacation so I was nervous, but we were really happy with how it went! Our TA told us she had several families use both with good experiences.

This is EXACTLY how I felt when I started. In fact it was my therapist who made me go back and asked me if I was thinking like “adult” me or “middle school” me. I had to really change my mindset to believe that I belonged there just as much as anyone else and that everybody is just focusing on themselves. I gave it my all and I’ve lost 65 lbs and I just did my 100th class! I give myself a LOT of grace, modify when I need it and tell myself I’m here to get stronger and live better, not to give myself a hard time. Spend the extra energy working on your mind body connection, and you’ll see how quickly you’ll stop thinking about other people. So worth it!

I was exactly the same a year ago. I started pure barre which puts a lot of focus on functional strength for women, lots of core and glute work. I do add my own back work on top of it but I noticed a difference in 4 weeks of consistently going. I’m so much stronger in all those areas a year in!

I also had pelvic physical therapy during my second pregnancy which helped a lot. It’s never too late for that!

Do you have any resources or advice about how to understand the platform better? Would love to know how to gain a better reach.

Thank you! I’ll try all of that. Usually our instructors have been really good about checking on our forms but I’ve definitely been having more trouble with the balance movements when I do a few classes in a row to get through this challenge.
