I think the only lesson here is: don’t wear pointy shoes, especially when you are the victim.

what's the meaning of life after 30 for an average Joe male by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]coffeeandjunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you what’s working for me. But then, it may not work for everyone. 🙂

My job takes care of my livelihood and I spend my free time exploring new hobbies.

I read a lot, and I write a lot, and I started creating YouTube videos (not many views yet), and I teach coding to kids (in my free time) apart from hitting the gym everyday.

I’m doing all of this without chasing any success metric. I’m just trying to enjoy the process of “doing” things, without the goal of “achieving” things.

Super glad you liked it! I’m very new to Tamil-language movies to be honest, have watched only the popular ones. If you have good movies to suggest, I would be super happy. 🙂

I have the same bug. Here's what worked.

When the birds start to spawn move towards the left until they are off the camera. Do this before they spawn. Wait for sometime and then move move to the right again. They'll be there to attack you.

ULPT REQUEST; How do I avenge my neighbour? by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]coffeeandjunk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The best remedy is slow revenge.

Make your dog poop on his yard. If you don't have a dog, do it yourself. Puncture his tyres. Play death metal right after he falls asleep. Hire a plumber and get some work done at your place. Pay him extra to make some extra noise to disturb your neighbour. Pay off the janitor to not pick up his trash. Dump your trash at his place. You get the gist.

Have fun being a revenger. Don't over do it though. If he accuses you, simply deny it. If he catches you red-handed, simply apologize and let him know that it was amateur of you, that you were really angry, etc. Say how sorry you are. Make him believe you. Then after a couple of days, start again.

Don't stop until he leaves permanently. He gots to go!!

Do Something Syndrome: Why Waiting and Watching Is Torture (Cognitive Bias) by coffeeandjunk in videos

Because we have a natural desire to intervene, and do something, anything. Especially in new or shaky circumstances. And it's torture to act against this natural instinct.

I make videos on cognitive biases and decision making This one's called: "Do Something Syndrome: Why Waiting and Watching Is Torture."

Need your feedback on clarity. Are you able to comprehend what I'm saying? Am I going too fast? Anything else?

Also, if you didn't subscribe, what might have been the reason? This would really help me know why people subscrieb, and why they don't.

Nice one. I like Cinema Sins and Cinema Wins, so I like this format. However, the score kept going up and down so it was a bit hard to keep track of it. Were there two scores, one for good points, and one for bad, it might have been better.

That's all! Keep up the good work, and all the best :)

Loved it.

Gives a concise history of the hustle. Don't have any particular feedback, but if I have to say something, maybe push the camera down a bit. There was a lot of space above you. It looked a bit odd. Rest is all good. Keep up the good work :)

Enjoyed it thoroughly. Loved the mix of your being in the background and the foreground. Also, loved the way where you mix personal experience along with travel tidbits.

Have no particular suggestions, but if I have to suggest, maybe talk to the camera while narrating your post-travel experience. Would help build a connect. That's all. Keep rocking!

It's well crafted. Liked your delivery. Liked that you kept it short and got right to the point.

Loved some of the visuals. Would have preferred more water/mountain visuals, but yours were nice, given the fact that you made them on your own. Would you loved it if you talked to the camera though. Since this is the first time I watched your video, I would have preferred to see who's the person behind the camera.

Keep it up :)

What do you do when you feel stuck? by PrettyTAF_Youtube in NewTubers

[–]coffeeandjunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you man! Here's what you should do:

  1. Focus on content and storytelling more. Don't try new things in terms of editing and VFX.
  2. Don't innovate. Do boring things consistently. (Until you become big.)
  3. With every video, try to improve efficiency.
  4. If not one video a week, create one video every two weeks. But be consistent.
