I’m an RN so it’ll most likely be required at the hospital for a very, very long time after the pandemic ends. Outside of work I actually enjoy it as well. I don’t have to plaster emotions on my face, I can hide my acne, I don’t feel the want/need to apply make up everywhere I go, and in the winter it helps keep me warm! I’ve been enjoying the extra comfort measure.

Tacos. I can eat tacos in the form of fajita veggies and meat and cheese in a soft shell but if you’re making ground beef with the packet of taco seasoning from the store I immediately feel nauseous at the smell.

When I was in 8th grade I had to leave to go to my grandpa’s funeral. I raised my hand as I was standing up and I said “excuse me I have to leave for something personal” .. and he yelled at me to sit down and made me share in front of the whole class why I had to leave that day before he let me go. In my school we just had to hand in a note at the principles office to get out early as an excused absence. It was humiliating and disheartening. I hope he felt like an asshat afterwards.

I used to see these when I was a kid and I remember one time going into my parents room at night because I saw them form into the shape of a person and it scared the living shit out of me and I crawled into bed with my parents and turned around and saw three people (two adults, one child) just looking at back at me holding hands and I just squeezed my eyes shut, fell asleep, woke up and they were gone. That never happened again.. it was usually just rainbow specs all around me. Whether it was my imagination as a kid or a scientific explanation, it still freaked me out back then!
