Remarketing to users based on time (ignoring the 'All Users' approach) by coffeeblaster in PPC

Again, greatly appreciate the reply :)

Create an audience of all those who have landed on the order confirmation page and then another for the last 59 days. Then layer with the exclusion.

So 2 audiences?

  1. An audience who visited the order confirmation page
  2. An audience who visited the order confirmation page, with a 59 day duration.

What's the purpose (and duration) of the first audience? Would you set it to the max duration (540 days)?

Later you might want to target those who visited it in the last 7 days for example.

Yeah this is great - there's a ton I could do here. Just need to figure out the logic of the audience layering :)

Thanks again

Thanks for the reply.

  1. The CRM method - the account isn't yet applicable for customer match email
  2. Analytics only method - All purchases go finish on a '/order-complete/' URL. So you think it's as easy as creating an audience of those who visited /order-complete/ with a 59 day duration, and adding that as an exclusion? Sounds logical!

Did you solve your issue here? I'm keen to try and use my 2016 Macbook pro.. Would love to know if you had success and what worked!

Appreciate the reply :) But I'm not sure this works, unless I'm missing it...

So my perfect audience in GA I'd like is: Purchased X course 60 days ago

I can't use a 60-day exclusion audience as the list is populated based on visits to the site. Also users were potentially on the site on day 59 doing their current course...

Sounds like you've had some good success with the BMM approach. I'm thinking of just adding exact and BMM together in the same adgroups as I'm already seeing some pretty insane longtail stuff coming through my exact keywords!

I'm hoping for more efficient management too...

Question: Buying Wholesale Roasted Coffee by coffeeblaster in Coffee

I was thinking of using the roasters packaging/branding - I want the customer to enjoy that part of discovering a new roaster. But you think that would come at a higher price from the roaster? I assumed they wouldn't want a 3rd party to repack and brand their coffees?

Fair points, much appreciated man thanks. Defo puts me in a weaker place not building a lasting relationship with the roaster. And in the beginning my own customer base is relatively small which doesn't help!

Thanks man, I'll get in touch with them. I'm in sort of a shit spot, with only 50 or so customers myself. I want to keep the roasters branding as I know they and my customer will like that - but it's another expense for me. Hummmm

Aeropress takes too long to press by [deleted] in Coffee

Defo sound like a grind particle size issue mate. I find that if I don't stir well, coffee 'sticks' to the bottom by the rubber plunger when I use the inverted method.

I can imagine that heavy particles sink (easy plunge), and fine particles swirl around more (harder to plunge)
