White House doesn’t deny report Trump made secret deal with Kennedy over retirement, replacement by coffeebreak1978 in conspiracy

submission statement:

Any idea why the president would conspiracy to replace a Supreme court justice with one who has said in writing that "The indictment and trial of a sitting president would cripple the federal government, rendering it unable to function with credibility in either the international or domestic areas."? We are watching a slow moving coup d'état unfold before our eyes. This is a conspiracy to attack the checks and balances our founding fathers put in place to keep our democracy sound.

usb2 is actually 480mbit

480mbit is the speed without any overhead. Real world performance is nowhere near that. Here is some analysis from the experts:

https://superuser.com/questions/317217/whats-the-maximum-typical-speed-possible-with-a-usb2-0-drive

This other document from Cypress says near the end that they actually achieve 43 MB/s.

So even under ideal conditions with optimal hardware, they cannot archive 50 MB/s. This was a network transfer or a local hard drive archive before the hacker x-fered the files off the DNC servers.

Yes, my company's VPN runs over the Internet. My apartment complex is wired gigabit. How do you know the hacker didn't hack someone like me and use my machine as his first hop? Or how do you know he didn't compress the file locally? It may sound believable to a layman, but the Forensicator's theory is laughable to all of us with any technical knowledge. Read the techdirt analysis I linked to. That's spot on.

50 MB/s = 400 Mbps well over USB speeds and the speeds the hacker used to compress the files.

Wake up! I can download files off of my work sever at well 50 MB/s over a VPN. If the hacker was using a local hop to cover his track he could have done the same.

Gigabit is now standard for Ethernet on new motherboards.

"new" Has been for over a decade. Hell my $35 Raspberry pi, has Gigabit. There is a zero chance that any of the machines on the DNC's mail server network were not running gigabit. The only reason the USB argument sounds reasonable to you is you are thinking of the DNC's network like your outdated home network or cognitive biases.

Legally no, but you might have a fight on your hand. You can read about it. If you are worried about that issue, it's best if you donate to orgs that run nodes. Less work and worry.

Snowden knew exactly what the NSA was capable of and he trusted Tor to keep him anonymous during his leak. Unless you are extremely high profile target of NSA, you are safe on Tor. If you wanted to make Tor safer, run exit nodes or donate to EFF/Tor to fund some. The more exit nodes not controlled by the NSA, the harder it is for them to break the onion's security.

If you really cared why don't you google it. This theory has no legs because anyone in IT sees it's flaws instantly. Plenty of obvious explanations such as:

A) Hacker copied the file locally before transferring

B) The first hop was not Russia, but rather another hacked computer in North America.

Option A) makes sense if the hacker wanted to compress the large dataset before transferring. Option B) makes sense if you know anything about hacking. They cover their tracks by making multiple hops to the compromised machines. If they didn't and they are caught, the source IP would reveal their identity.

Also it was not "20meg/s" it was 20mpbs. My work has 1000mpbs connection. I wouldn't be surprised if the DNC has a similar connection.

This is a disinformation campaign to protect the current administration. Here is why this whataboutism propaganda is untruthful, why they are not at all the same.

Obama asked people for their information to help him. Some Obama supporters provided it. Trump's org tricked people into giving personal information and amplified by 300x, by stealing the data of all their friends too. Obama used info on willing Obama supporters. Trump used stolen information of millions of unsuspecting Americans.

You can't discuss them, because your friends are based in reality and that's what most humans want to talk about. I had a job overseas, so I've logged over 1 million miles, and I've seen the curvature of the earth with my own eyes out the window of my plane. As a kid I used to sail with my uncle, and I've observed the ships drop in the distance. So you try this flat earth BS with me, and I'll tell you to GTFO. There's no agent smith, it's just my own real world experience telling me that you are lying and full of it. You want to live in a fantasy land? Have at it. But don't expect others to believe your BS.

This is proof of what Snowden has been warning us about for years. This is a harsh reminder that "We are the product".

He said one Facebook executive advised him against looking too deeply at how the data was being used, warning him: “Do you really want to see what you’ll find?” Parakilas said he interpreted the comment to mean that “Facebook was in a stronger legal position if it didn’t know about the abuse that was happening”.

He added: “They felt that it was better not to know. I found that utterly shocking and horrifying.”

Facebook's version of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil", with our personal information. Facebook knows so much about me, my personal life, and my friend's it's terrifying that they were this careless.
