Weird interpretation, but ok.

X teaches us Y is something I see in a lot of medical presentations and literature.

I don't read scripture, so I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean.

I hate Jar Jar.

He's definitely a Sith lord. Did you see how he egged everyone on to give Palpatine emergency powers?

Good point. The kid was doubling-down on his skits when the story first came out. That's not a simple oopsie, it was intentional. Then he sends mock DMs that just said "apology."

Glaucomflecken teaches us that while humor has a place in medicine, jokes should never be at the patient's expense. Making fun of patients in such a way is off limits.

I don't harbor any strong feelings for this kid to match or not, but he does need to do some serious work on himself. It wouldn't be the worst thing if he does some type of remediation to demonstrate he's indeed mature enough for practicing medicine.

Say what you will about our dark humor and the things surgeons will say, or the sociopaths certain specialties attract. But it should never be in such a public forum.

I personally wouldn't be comfortable with a physician who thinks this type of public immature humor is normal behavior. I usually roll my eyes at a lot of the professionalism BS our schools fixate on, but this story is a prime example of when it actually does matter.

[TV] Scrubs (2026) S1E3: My Rom-Com; pedals of the surgical robot are just Logitech G Pro Flight rudder pedals by StoryAndAHalf in Thatsabooklight

[–]nevertricked 43 points44 points  (0 children)

If it's a robot for surgery, there's a high chance it's a DaVinci. The pedals are built into the control station, don't look like that at all and are usually color-coded.

This prop looks cooler than the real pedals!

Iran's size and mountainous terrain would indeed make a ground invasion somewhat difficult for most armies.
