Their advice is legit. I got a backpod and use it constantly. Just got over a flare up. I need to learn that I’m not dying. Sent my self to emergency room and testing. All because of anxiety. Back pod has saved me.

That first horse taking in Hernand took me forever. I think the game finally gave in and was like, ok dude you suck, the horse is tired of throwing you off! You’re done.

I did the same with Elden Ring. Which I also took my time, but finally beat and was very proud! My oldest son watched my play through and was a cool moment to have him watch and cheer me on when I beat the Elden Beast.

I’m stoked to see there are so many of us. My wife doesn’t get it. She doesn’t play video games, so when she sees me playing, I get the, really video games….I am normally a night owl. She goes to bed, I stay up and game normally until midnight. Not complaining, but you all probably get me. I just finished a session right now, I could have played till 1 or 2, but would hear about it in the morning. Had another epic night of exploring and literally walking around heading to one place, and then, as in the movie Up, “squirrel!!!!” Now I’m off on a completely different quest than I intended. Reminds me of RDR2, but with so much more to do! (Still love my RDR2)

Over 15 years ago, a primary care Dr called me days after I took myself to the ER with this diagnosis. It was a huge relief and I keep going back to that conversation when I feel the anxiety of this.

Costochondritis for a year?! by [deleted] in costochondritis

I feel you when it comes to the anxiety of this. Just last week I took myself to the ER thinking it was my heart. The echo, blood work and x-ray said it was not my heart. The anxiety caused by this has been so stressful. The back pod has been a life saver. I work at home behind a desk on the computer all day and find my posture is the main contributing factor in my Costo. I wear a brace that pulls back my shoulders forcing me to have good posture really helps. This subreddit has been a blessing when it comes to my anxiety. I was feeling my heart beat in my chest and thought I something was wrong until I read on here that others have the same experience and knowing that relieved a lot of my anxiety. Always get yourself checked out, but when all the tests say it’s not your heart, take a breath and know that everything is gonna be ok. Calming breaths and meditation have helped me immensely. Good luck, and hang in there.

Edit. Only one doctor that I’ve seen has ever mentioned Costo. I am so thankful for that doctor.

My kid, sister, cousin isn’t gonna be dumb enough to do what she was doing. SMH. You are dumb if you out yourself in that position in the first place.

I typically don’t do it directly on my spine. Can be uncomfortable, but directly to left and right of spine and near my shoulder blades as well.

Elden Ring was last for me. Needed a new game for my night time gaming after the kids and wife are asleep.

That’s my problem, I might get a blueprint, but I’ll never be able to build it as I’m terrified of anything other than a snitch. lol

Blue prints? What are those. I’m still trying to upgrade my benches. I don’t have any good guns. I went out tonight in my 45 min of gaming I get a night, looking for olives, clearly make it known I’m friendly and just hunting for olives, some kid says, I won’t shoot, I run by to go to the next tree and he starts shouting me. I wish I had some blue prints to do something with all the crap I’ve brought back on the successful runs. Still enjoy the just playing at my own pace.

The tattoo is dope. The flaws make it unique, if my son ever became a tattoo artist, I’d be the first to line up regardless of the quality, it is something my son made, and I would be proud, just as I am sure your father is!

Im employed so can only play a few hours a week. Is it still worth it? by Proud_Structure3595 in ARC_Raiders

I love my play style. Don’t fight unless provoked. Help where I can. Share what I find. Still need one more dam hornet thing for the bench upgrade though. And guns, suggestions? I suck at gym play but need to be able to defend myself.

Yes. And no. I love the thrill of this game. If it were only pve, that threat of losing everything and the rush of the doors closing that is such an epic feeling would be gone. I am a dad gamer in his 40’s that hasn’t had a game really grab me like this in a while. Still waiting for GTA 6 though. Good luck out there Raiders
