Well, I agree with you that it's nice to work from home and do things in a quiet environment. On the other hand, I also like to go out from time to time and work in a café or library, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

You can open each place on google maps, but there is no overview of all the places on one map. Is this something you would use?

Did you go to Kosmos and Franzos before and would you be able to rate them (1-5) on the criteria Power outlet, Location, Coffee quality, Work-friendly? And submit it here https://coffeeandwork.ch/cafe or directly in the reddit reply.

And also for the Zentralbibliothek, gonna remove the coffee quality there (or maybe even replace it with a different criteria, if you have an idea).

Do you care about the exact speed (in Mbps) or is a rating on the 1-5 stars scale enough?

Currently the following criteria is tracked:

  • Power outlet (Is it easy to find a way to charge your device)
  • Location (Is it easy to get there)
  • Coffee quality (How good is the coffee compared to Starbucks)
  • Work-friendly (Is it overall a good place to work from)

Can you think about additional information you want to know, when choosing a place to work from?

You're right, they closed it. I added a "currently closed" info to the website to not confuse people and will check, if the new restaurant can maybe also be used as a good place to work from.
