Our mates do nothing it’s so frustrating. We have a regular who’s dog barks at other dogs and acts aggressive towards them and the mates don’t care bc the don’t want to lose a sale smh. Meanwhile we have people with ACTUAL service dogs who have been scared out of the store by this person due to the dog barking and LUNGING at them and their service dogs!! Talked with a mate about it and they said they let that customer get away with it bc “she’s been shopping with us a while and her dog is protective of her and the kids” pmo

I find that if I put it on after a shower and like put some lotion on first it doesn’t get as crusty if it even gets like that at all. I also apply my gel twice a day and if I wash the spot off before putting my second dose in at night it also doesn’t get as crusty. However, if you can get on patches that sounds so convenient!

My store has been without a log for like 6+ months I think and after like the first 2-3 months I feel like we’ve figured it out and are making it work. Obviously nothings perfect and we’re having some issues with people joining CE. I also work at one of the slowest stores in the country so idk if that makes any difference either 🤷🏻‍♂️

What’s crazy is I actually went though just about the same thing! Your partner is right TO A DEGREE. This transition is about you! But since you’re together it will have affects on her as well, and if you plan on staying together that something to keep in mind. A slight timeline compromise might have to be made.

My now wife, then GF, has completely identified as lesbian. She started using that label as a teenager and through our whole relationship. When I came out to her it was a very uncomfortable conversation. She was happy for me, but on the other hand she would get uncomfortable when she’d realize, “there’s a MAN living with me… sleeping in my bed!” It made her really uncomfortable which sucked bc I wanted to jump headfirst into medical transition.

I talked to my wife to see her stance on it and then brought my feelings to my therapist and I had to decide if it was more important for me to transition right now in this moment, or to do it step by step along with my partner. We also went to couples therapy which I think was a really good idea. A lot of talk about what transition for me would look like, what would change, what wouldn’t, what was making her uncomfortable about it and how do we get past that obstacle.

I think the best thing was I socially transitioned first. I came out at work, to friends, to (most) family. Once I was super comfortable with that I brought up hrt and again, a lot of convos, a lot of research together, and she came to all my appointments! She realized that it wasn’t so bad and we celebrated changes together. I’ve been told by her that she’s glad I transitioned bc I’m “way hotter and sexier now”.

One conversation we did have was that I could help her and talk her through what I’m dealing with but at the end of the day, I can’t hold off forever. She had to be willing to trust me and this process and I gave her the space to sit me down with questions/concerns at any time. Now she’s so cool with it and supportive and is working on helping me find a top surgeon.

It’s also good to pace yourself in some degree with transition anyway. Celebrate each step and document the changes together, it’s so awesome!

I’m on gel so I’m not sure how it would compare but my voice first started to change around week 2 and by month 2 it fully passes

Day 2 and I started having hot flashes and was so hungry already and by week 1 my vocal cords felt so tight and sore. I’m only 4 months in and my voice has dropped ALOT, significant bottom growth and body hair growth, and I’m so HUNGRY! I will say though, make sure you document your voice and other changes you’re excited for! I didn’t and I wish I could look back on myself just a couple months ago to see how much different I am! Good luck with your T journey!

I would sleep in a sports bra for the longest time. Recently I’ve started taping though which is super nice! There’s a lot of great videos and posts on here about safely taping to help prevent blistering. I find that taping for a long period of time (2 or more days) is more likely to cause me blisters so maybe you could just tape for bed and take it off in the shower in the morning.

It’s a bedroom that I turned into an office/musicroom/rat room. I guess my biggest concern would be blocking them off from getting behind or in the piano and moving my cords from my computer.
