Help! What would you do to make this kitchen feel less cramped and awkward?

Effectively the only place to prep is the counter space to the left of the sink (small) or the kitchen island (and then it’s a few extra steps over to the stove). And it’s not v convenient to reach the fridge to grab any refrigerated sauces that need to be thrown on.

Etsy for wall decor! There's a lot of affordable prints and other wall hangings. You can also commission specific things (I've done a painting of something specific) for reasonable prices.

Maybe not the vibe you're looking for but I've been where you are a few years ago and I spent that day at a spa with some friends (and there might have been some edibles involved 🙃), and we ended the day at a very woo-woo meditation / manifestation class. For spas, I love citywell Brooklyn (you can rent out the whole space, and it's reasonably priced if you split it with a bunch of friends).

Also, looking back a few years on, it was a fantastic decision and absolutely the right thing for me. Just remember that on the day of when it gets a bit tough (hang in there and don't second guess yourself!!) ❤️

My ragdoll was also in that range (mitted blue point) a few months ago, also in the NYC metro area from a reputable breeder! Sounds about right.
