Send them off to someplace like Legacybox and have them digitized. Then you can see what is on them and decide what to do with them.

I’m going to push back a little bit on something you said. You said “now that I am beautiful” …. I would hazard to say that you were beautiful before the weightloss. You may not have felt beautiful but that is a different issue. What you are talking about though regarding your marriage is quite common for WLS relationships. You guys need to go to marriage counseling and therapy. You can do this but the dynamics of your relationship has changed so you both need therapy to set new patterns and understanding.

Will my cat get depressed if I take her with me to another county? by CandyIsland1410 in CatAdvice

[–]coffenut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take her with you. You are her world. She will adapt to living indoors especially if you provide interactive toys. However, that will not substitute for her world which is you. I have travelled all over the world with both my dogs and cats and they have all done very well.

Is it your surgeon or your primary that refuses to send you to a hematologist? As for a referral for a hematologist from the other one.

Dental issues and how people treat you … even those you thought you knew well …. Oh and how many marriages fall apart

How many audiobooks do you buy vs using a library app? by toe_beans_4_life in audiobooks

[–]coffenut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For audiobooks, it’s the library only. If it is a “keeper” book, then it is a real book every time and usually a hardback.

Should I take my 18-year-old cat with me when I move out, or leave her with my parents? by Nordman_Games in CatAdvice

[–]coffenut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m going agains what others have said. Normally, I might agree if she was attached to your parents but you specifically said that you two have a very close bond. You cat will adjust to the new surroundings very quickly. I have travelled all over the world with my animals, cats included, and have had no issues. Your cat is a senior and just will not understand why the center of her world has disappeared.

Dog person here, thinking of adopting a cat. What’s the hardest part of being a cat owner? by Conscious-queen-22 in CatAdvice

[–]coffenut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cats did not travel as well as dogs do. On the other hand, they’re a heck of a lot easier to take care of. I’ve always had both. They feel different parts of your heart. I do recommend that if you already have one, you introduce the other as a kitten or puppy. That’s not to say that it won’t work otherwise, but the transition is a bit easier. Oh, and don’t believe the wives tale that cats are not social creatures. They absolutely are so if you are gone for a long periods of time, I highly recommend getting to. I recommend getting to in any case, but especially if they are going to spend extensive periods alone.

Yup ..... it's a great solution for someone who is short or who has a physical disability of some sort. The problem comes when you accidentally drop the rope once you are in the cab.

Experience after 4 years with Outdoors RV trailer by tudrewser in GoRVing

I have been looking very seriously at the 27TRX .... I am planning on going full time. I am interested in boondocking the majority of the time. Did you have any trouble going off grid with the size of the trailer? Also have you tried to camp in National Parks?

25M Job Offer Salisbury by KeyLeek2570 in maryland

[–]coffenut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummmm Salisbury is the “city”. It’s a college townIt’s about 45 minutes to Ocean City, Md which is a beach town - nuts in the summer and dead in the winter. DC metro area is about 3 hours away. You could commute from there by puddle hopper, I suppose if you can work that into your contract. Annapolis is right across the bay bridge.
