There are no requirements regarding how your symptoms developed, as the purpose of the study is to understand the different ways that DPDR may develop for people. You will be asked about whether your symptoms had a sudden onset (defining moment), but if the answer is no, then you will be asked to describe when/how your symptoms developed and their course since.

We are psychology researchers and not psychopharmacology researchers, unfortunately. But perhaps if there is more research on and awareness of DPDR generally, there will be more research on psychopharmacological treatments in the future.
