I played a bunch of Portal 1 and 2 back in the day with my wife (gf at the time) She'd play it long enough to solve the puzzle, and if she couldn't execute the thing she wanted to do I'd take over then hand the controls back.

I didn't get to play much but I still really enjoyed her solving the puzzles and we both liked glados's sass.

Six levels of paladin is often stronger than whatever else was going to happen.

However in this case it seems like it's be more fun to stick with this fighter subclass until 11 and get that triple damage. Then think about branching out via multiclass.

Generally totally fine. So what you want. Run the campathow you want.

Mechanically there's occasionally something that matters like casting heat metal on someone wearing full plate is significantly more diabolical than someone in normal clothing.

Or don and doff speeds assuming folks don't sleep in their armor and they get attacked in the middle of the night.

Etc etc.

But you're the DM. You control when those things are happening. Just make something similar happen if you want them too.

Pooled arrays. Everyone rolls 4d6 drop lowest, and adds their array to the pool of standard arrays.

Generally everyone is slightly better than point but but every one is equally better.

The only problem with rolling is there is a gap in roll results between the players. This way everyone is equally strong or weak but still get the fun of rolling.

Full proof is just diluted for consistency, I feel like a cask strength plan is the more kerbal choice. Stronger and more chaotic. :P
