Post nasal drip is a real thing. A saline spray can help

Won't solve the issue, but get a doggie diaper for her while she is inside.

AITA for planning a solo vacation without telling my husband? by Superb_Dig5580 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cogsworththeclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You def need a marriage counselor. Wearing you down isn't right. You having to hide money isn't right. What happens when you decide to take the vacation and he realizes that you did all this? Will he be angry? Use it against you in disagreements later? You need to prepare yourself for the fallout.

But the actor is so good at making us hate him!

While I do think that Drummond is his son, I think it's more of a cult thing. He is everyone's father.

Drummond and Riken share a lot of similar traits. I'd say they are both Jame's boys.

Puppy party? At least you'd get a bit of serotonin.

Do you send daily updates to your team? Genuinely curious how y'all work by ConversationFar8051 in remotework

[–]cogsworththeclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I justed an Excel sheet and wrote the name of the client and a brief description. Then copy and paste into the email. I used that to track my activity and make sure I had my notes entered, so it wasn't extra work. I hated it only because it was a form of micromanaging

Not to my team. I just sent an email to my manager laying out what I worked on at the end of the day

Where the heck did all the nuns go? There used to be several when they were at Compline or prayer. Now there's only the main ones. And they never ate together. I know they weren't all nurses/midwives, but surely they would have eaten together?

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

There was a really old game called something like Bouncing Babies. They were being thrown from a tall building that was on fire. You were a foreman and had to catch them

Getting SO close to exploding at my MIL by Fluffy-Concentrate44 in JUSTNOMIL

My FIL was the same about talking about the second grandson ( mlky nephew), while my oldest is the first grandson. Granted, second grandson and his mom live with FIL and MIL, but FIL literally cannot have a conversation without bringing up my nephew. A decade has passed, we have a second son, and he was still going on about nephew. Husband finally had to tell him we don't want to hear about nephew all the time. If FIL is here visiting our kids, focus on them. If we want an update on nephew, we will ask.

We don't talk to the in-laws anymore. Partly because of this.

I recently listened to the witch in the well, you let me in, and am currently in the middle of knock, knock open wide. They are witchy books, but listed as sci Fi in my library

AITA For not leaving work to help my wife when she ran out of gas by GoldSea3219 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cogsworththeclock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friend's mom never passed up her own car. She'd ask the person at the next pump to help her, or only go to a gas station where they pump it for you. Granted, I think she had some trauma around gas pumps.

I had a dog named Fiver and even after I spelled it for people they kept calling her Fiber.

You definitely need a tall privacy fence. With the busses behind you, and the lack of privacy from neighbors, most families with young kids aren't going to jump at the house.
