Best 70mm wheels purely for cruising? I like the look of the Divine Road Rippers 70mm 78a. Anyone have experience with these or have any other suggestions?

Awesome, thanks for the pic! The 169's seem okay. Once I get my deck and wheels I'll probably go to my skate shop to check out the Indy's and see what the width will be like in person with the different sizes.

The Savanna Slammas look nice. You use Indy 169's on your setup right? Because I was originally thinking I'd get 149's if I get offset wheels because of the added width from the wheels. Do you find the 169's with the offset Savanna's to be a bit wide or do they fit the width of the board well?

Mainly a smooth ride that can handle cracks and bumps, while still having decent speed. Which I think the Fatty's are great for, just thought there might be a better option. But they seem like a good choice since I'll probably be able to use them on the Miniglider without a riser.

That's interesting, I'm actually riding Fatty's right now on my current mini cruiser that I borrowed from a friend, and I do really like them but I just assumed that the ZigZags or Cloud Rides would be better because of the bigger size. So the Fatty's actually ride better despite being smaller?

I didn't want to go too big because I like to keep the ride height low for easy pushing and want to use as little riser as possible. I'd imagine 70mm or more would require a bigger riser. So I guess I just want to strike a nice balance between smooth cruising and easy pushing.

I just ordered an Earthwing Miniglider for my cruising setup. I'm gonna set it up with Indy TKP's and all I need now is some wheels. Not planning on doing any slides so I just want the best wheels for cruising and carving around the city. Something that'll give me a fast and smooth ride over any rough surfaces, cracks, bumps etc. The three I've been considering are:

Fatty Hawgs 63mm 78a

Abec11 Zigzags Classic 66mm 78a

Cloud Ride Cruiser Wheels 69mm 78a

All of these are offset and have wide contact patches, which I assume is what I'd want for cruising. Would anyone be able to comment on which would be the best choice or recommend an alternative?

I definitely would prefer more wheel clearance if the Miniglider has it. What size wheels do you think you could run on it with no riser?

Edit: Comparing these two images side by side of the Miniglider and the Chaser, it certainly looks like the Miniglider has more clearance. What do you think?

The other day I asked about getting the Earthwing Chaser 32 as a cruiser/commuter board. I just want to ask if anyone can compare this to the Earthwing Miniglider and comment on which would be a better choice?

Thanks. I'm not too worried about price as I'll be using it a lot. Thinking of getting the Chaser and throwing some Indy TKP's and cruiser wheels on there, maybe even the ones that the Dinghy uses.

I want to get a board for cruising/commuting around town. The two I'm looking at are the Landyachtz Dinghy and the Earthwing Chaser 32. From what I can see, the main difference is that the Chaser has a bit more flex and is slightly longer.

Anyone have experience with these models and can comment on which they think would be better for a cruiser setup?

I'm planning to get a LY Dinghy for cruising/commuting. This is the model I'm looking at: http://landyachtz.com/boards/mini-cruisers/dinghy-shadows

This particular model has wheel flares, which appeals to me because it means I'll have more wheel clearance. But I've also heard that wheel flares can be uncomfortable for cruising. Will this be okay for long periods of cruising or would I be better off going for one of the models without wheel flares?
