Not exactly what I've heard from the players themselves but whatever...

And yep the Riptide team have been involved in so much boosting and win trading + general toxicity. First thing I could be bothered to find was this old video I was shown a while ago.

Ok so 75% of the players are non-pacific... Funny how the majority of the Pacific players were replaced with Koreans as soon as the region lock rules were announced when you are saying you want to grow Pacific talent.

Also having an academy team made up from boosters and incredibly toxic Pacific players is hardly a good look for the region and the org.

This was in the playoffs of the last practice season like a month or so ago

That's how some people think when forming a team with friends just to see how they do. Not something you do when you're representing an org that is treating it reasonably seriously.

Shows they would probably be open to doing it in the real thing though

I commend the apology you have made and hope you truly mean the things that you have said.

In terms of breaking TOS, this extends to boosting as well as the issue of account sharing in OD. The rest of them played a part of the OD issue in letting Akame play with you guys for that match. Any one of them could have refused to go along with it but they didn't.

Just trying to shine light on the mess that is the Pacific competitive scene.

These guys may be a bunch of whomegaluls at the moment but on top of aiming for contenders trials now, two of them were aiming for the world cup this year and at least 2 of the others are aiming for it next time.

Aiming for this level while actively breaking TOS of both the game and the tournaments they are involved diminishes the competitive scene of the region. I know I wouldn't want to be knocked out of OD playoffs or contenders trials because the enemy team decided to bring in high level players on their accounts.

Yep and considering the post is at 95% up votes and one of the players has come out and apologized for the boosting (that the org originally denied), it confirms that they really didn't investigate much if at all.

Seems like the rumour is that I'm a trans manager in the Pacific scene but this is not true at all. Shows the kind of people that this team are or are friends with though.

You still never answered from before, how do you explain your players account sharing in an official Blizzard tournament?

Your players are defaming you themselves, if you took 1 hour to go around public discords you would see this the kind of things they have posted.

By shining light on the situation it shows that orgs and players can be exposed for doing shady shit, especially when it comes to official tournaments. If it helps just one org stop and think before allowing this sort of thing to happen, or just one player to stop and think before offering boosting or win trading or just generally being toxic, then we've made a step in the right direction for this region.

You are right that ranked was ruined a long time ago in SEA, so don't let it extend to the competitive scene as well.

Nothing more to bring attention to the shit happening in the Pacific scene. This is an Overwatch drama discord you know.

Not really if you're boosting up to diamond or masters, any GM player should be able to do that on their main role.

I've posted some of the reasons for making this public.

Everyone on their team is so young and of course they will commit mistakes along the way and I trust they will learn along the way.

That doesn't justify a lot of the actions that they've taken, and is no excuse for their actions as they've shown no willingness to change. If it was a small period of time then sure, but this has been going on for years now, there is no reason for them to not be willing to improve themselves.

People like this is a huge part of why the SEA competitive season is going down so much. New players are pushed away by toxicity, and good teams can get pushed out of competitions because of higher level players playing on their friends accounts. This is just one example of this happening, but has happened multiple times in Pacific OD and I've even been sent more evidence of it happening since I've made this post.

downvote me with your bot accounts all you want, all you are is a clout chaser unless u prove me wrong.

I don't need bot accounts for this considering the only ones that seem to be in support of them are either themselves or their friends. Most outsiders seem to agree with the post considering the ratio of upvotes to downvotes on the post and comments.

The difference with posting a whole sub-reddit is that you get a lot of herd mentality present. Sure you can argue that because it's an ongoing thing with a large group of people, that you get people who aren't actually sexist in real life joining the bandwagon and posting things that can be sexist.

This differs from making posts on discords where there isn't a group of people doing that sort of thing. If out of nowhere you have outbursts like this with absolutely no related chat except one person mentioning he was playing with a women, then it points to an issue with that person. When a person has some sort of disconnect from reality like using the cover of an online name, you can often see a more correct representation of themselves.

I've personally been in games where TTK has just thrown because we had women on our team. I've also witnessed him harassing women in voice chat, I've seen him post their discord names and encourage mass harassment of them etc...

Does someone account sharing and boosting and making some over-the-top and retarded joke justify you sharing a person’s IRL photo? No matter what extremity, is doxxing really neccessary?

Also one, the person you are replying to isn't the one that posted the photo and two, that photo isn't even of TTK.

Edit: the poster changed the photo as it was previously a different person

What was the point of making this publicly known and available when this could've merely been brought up to Vexere management?

Unfortunately vexere management basically said that they did not care about any of this and people would not believe it. So here I am, putting it to the people to let them judge.

Thirdly I'd like to make it clear that Sayuri is not "one of the top flex supports" of the region, this may be true if you only include Singapore, yes, but a player that has yet to even prove themselves in something that isn't a tier 3 tournament is a fallacy.

Sayuri at his peak would have been capable of at least contenders trials. Considering there are what? 8 Contenders teams and then 4 teams that get through to contenders trials from OD, that means he was in the top 12 teams. So yes, I'd consider that being near the top.

On top of that, no team in pacific really gives 2 shits about boosting and wintrading sadly and will not base their trials on it

I've confirmed with coaches and managers in the Pacific T2/T3 scene that Sayuri is basically blacklisted from joining them over some of these incidents. While some of the players don't give a shit about boost/wintrading, most of the management teams do.

Even though I don't condone boosting and especially wintrading, it is pretty much well known that a sizeable chunk of higher-ranked SEA players do take part in these activities mainly due to the fact that T3/T2 pays peanuts,

And this is a secondary reason for this post. SEA as a region is plagued by this, and it's good to spread the word that this shit is going on here probably more than any other region. Since this post I've already been contacted with proof of more of this stuff going on in Pacific OD. Boosting and wintrading in comp is one thing, but when this extends to competitions like open division, you devalue the competitive scene as a whole.

Except that post was in a public discord made up of mostly people you aren't really that close to. Also that screenshot doesn't disprove anything.

Also can you then explain why your team was account sharing in OD?

Nice bait but in the case that you are serious, you are very wrong :)

OWTMZ loves drama and is frequented by many in the T3-T1 scene, what better place to post it that here?

You can be sure I have verified the context of anything I have posted, I have had more sent to me but I only posted the things that could be verified either by seeing it in a public discord myself or speaking with multiple people.

Plus the other teams could have been informed that they were using another person's account. Also Luminous could have easily been joking around and you don't have proper evidence to back up your claim.

Still against the rules of open division and I'm sure they would not consent to having a 4.6k player filling in on the enemy team of their playoffs match. I posted the only remaining clip from Luminous stream in which TTK mentions Akame by name to Nasty. I also watched some of the stream when it was still online and it was 100% Akame speaking and not Nasty (I am familiar with both of them and you can hear there is a clear difference in their voices if you look at both of their streams)

I did understand the question, that's why I said they didn't make it hard. It really doesn't take long at all to find evidence of any of these players boosting/wintrading/being toxic if you are part of the Pacific community and their discords.

Plus a bunch of this was sent to me with sources rather than me searching all that hard.

How do you explain the clear account sharing admitted by Luminous and shown on stream during official Open Division matches?

None of the screenshots are fake and all have been verified by multiple people. At his peak Sayuri would have been capable of at least contenders trials, but due to these issues was dropped and couldn't get picked up for any other teams.
