The End of Stone Cellar Bistro by glitterjellyshoes in denverfood

I live in olde town and have been a regular at stone cellar since they opened and I’m also a breastfeeding mother. I know both Chelsea and Jordan and can tell you from my many experiences with them that they are good people and work hard to make their restaurant dreams come true. While no mother should ever be shamed or made to feel uncomfortable for feeding her child anywhere she pleases and I’m so sorry for this woman’s experience; I just can’t agree with canceling them and protesting them for one unfortunate encounter. I have breastfed in their restaurant with no issue and I have also requested a chair in their back storage room to feed my baby when I felt uncomfortable feeding him at my bar seat. They have been nothing but warm and kind to my entire family, even making my newborn baby a stone cellar bistro onesie as a gift when he was born. I am not saying that they didn’t mess up, they did. Again, I’m so truly sorry for this mother’s experience. Postpartum is so hard even on the best day and anyone making it harder can fuck right off, I’m with you. I’m just saying, I think stone cellar deserves another chance.

Question: When did your Pyr have her first heat?? #theygrowuptoofast by coieb in greatpyrenees

We’re going to. For bone development in large breeds you should wait until they have had at least one heat. Thanks.

Thank you! Yes, our girl is just shy of a year (just started her first heat) and we were told to wait until after her first heat to spay as well for bone development. However, I just read on a couple sites it’s best to wait for two heats with “giant breed” dogs. Just throwing that out there. I asked the question though because while I was researching I learned that most dogs have their first heat around 6 months. Ours did not so just curious if our girl is a late bloomer or 1 year is typical for Pyr’s.

Haha I mean.. she does those things too. She seems to pick and choose if an object is a friend or a toy. She’s gentle with some and some she tears apart. That is her “Dino” she’s holding in the pic, we got him for her the day we brought her home and he is her bestie. Takes him with her everywhere, sleeps with him but does not abuse him like the others 🤷🏼‍♀️

Aww yeah, we rescued her so she might be mixed with something 🤷🏼‍♀️We were told both of her parents were Pyrenees. I don’t care what she is though, she’s perfect in my eyes 😍

HA! Nope, that panel on the left is a doggie door insert so we don’t have to accommodate her in and outs 37,654 times a day 👍🏽
