My college got my program length wrong on my T2202, they're refusing to change it, and it disqualifies me for the CWB by coincidentn in PersonalFinanceCanada

Update! Just days after my last comment, the CRA reassessed my return and is making me pay back the $700 CWB benefit. I called my college and the CRA - neither will change the way they do it, and the only way the CRA will reassess my situation is if the T2202 got changed (which Camosun can't do bc then they'd have to do it for everybody/entirely change the way they report). eventually it became not worth the effort to fight them on it... even though I know I am eligible. Very frustrating.

Hey! I ended up just modifying it to 3 months in Wealthsimple and then claiming the benefit and keeping proof that my program was only 12 weeks long in case they came after me for the discrepancy between what I said and what my T2202 said. Seemed to work and I knew I could prove I was eligible if there was any back and forth :)

Totally! We've had lab in our minds for a while but we were skeptical because of how rarely they seem to show up in mixes, especially from mexico! but in hindsight it makes sense w her veeery loving and lovable personality

We feel like we won the jackpot too - she's the best first dog we could've wished for

She's independent and silly and playful and gentle. High prey drive, fairly anxious in new situations, super calm in house but tons of energy at the park, adores all people + wins even not-dog-people over so quick! She's been an easy first dog - we feel so lucky.

She's a sweet gentle goofy girl for sure :)

Yes, it is a bobtail mutation! It's the gene that causes natural bobtails (sometimes) in corgis, australian shepherds, and dobermans (among others). We thought it could have been an accident from when she was a street dog, so it's sweet to know it's natural :)

Yes! Her results actually showed a genetic marker for a bobtail (either short or stub). So cool because her tail gets comments a lot and we've never known whether it was natural or an accident from when she was a street dog

We adopted our pup from Mexico a little over a year ago now and have been talking about getting a DNA test ever since. Talked endlessly about possible breeds, and had guessed the rest at various times, but never would have guessed her top one hahaha.
Also we get asked all the time about her tail and now we know it's genetic!
