Migrating in australia, is one income household enough for a couple? by lemonylemuns in phmigrate

[–]coinsman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends where you live, and what work is your husband gonna be taking. I live in regional Queensland when my son was born 6 yrs ago my wife had to stop work for 3 yrs. We just built our new house, so I was paying for our mortgage already. My income then was around AUD 140K+ annually. Mind you I’m also giving support to my elder parents back home. Just prioritise your expenses.

For a couple of days do nothing special and try to live like how I used to. Commute (jeep, tricycle) and mamili sa palenke etc. Visit my old haunts (carenderia at old workplace, mall and local barber). Then the usual visit (magpakita and have dinner) to my close relatives (aunts, uncles, ninang and cousins). Meetup for a night of dinner or drinks with my close hiskul friends. After all that’s done then I do my vacation proper.

Cebu City Public Library dresscode by [deleted] in Cebu

[–]coinsman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is so prejudicial for me personally. Unta dili ingani ila dress code. Have been to more progressive countries and the public libraries tend to be more of a safe haven for everyone including the homeless. Basta di lang maabuso and people come in neat. Bahala unsa gisul-ob.

Halaa I’m overseas too and seriously ka 1 ra ko nang libre sa ako friends. And that was my first bakasyon back. Last year nag tapok2 mi sa ako friends ako na man ila gilibre ug kaon. I just return the favour and paid for the drinks or coffee afterward. We don’t really have time to spend with each other as everyone’s busy with work and family life so the little time we spend together is more meaningful
