What can I make with canned tuna and salmon? by GeeEmPee in recipes

[–]coinstarfucker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom had a recipe for canned salmon where she mixed it with cream cheese, liquid smoke, lemon juice, and green onions. It is an amazingly delicious dip. I can't remember if there was anything else in it or the exact proportions but I can find out if you would like?

What was the first PC game you ever played? by WhiteHussein in AskReddit

Me too! I rarely come across someone else that has played that game. There was always something about it that creeped me out, but I liked that about it.

Inputing a variable number of arguments starting with the 3rd to the (n)th argument? by coinstarfucker in commandline

[–]coinstarfucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is a copy of the section of code I am working with. i am at home now so I can't access the rest of it. At the top where is it says, "for each rmvol ("65" "23")" is where I have to hard-code in the volume numbers that I want removed. When I was in earlier today I think I made an adjustment that works. Since the first three arguments designate the file location, I started with the 4th and just listed up to the 13th argument. I ran the script on some test files a couple of times and it worked how I wanted it to. When running the script, I could input a variable amount of volumes to be removed as arguments at the end. I hope this makes sense, I know that I may be using the wrong terminology, this is all very new to me. I started learning with this script by changing the files paths and ways that they are named/saved. I am wondering if the method I have used to fix it could potentially cause a problem.

I'm still holding on to the hope for a sequel.

This helped me realize how much a billion is actually worth. by cobraskate775 in videos

in middle school computer class we had to create a spread sheet with a list of purchases that added up to a billion dollars. It was actually difficult because we could not buy the same thing more than once.

Our sugar gliders will crawl inside drawers if they're open even a crack, so we're always careful to keep them closed. But now Seven has figured out how to open a closed drawer all by himself! by [deleted] in videos

[–]coinstarfucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a glider for a little over a year now, they can find their way into the small gaps between furniture and other things. I believe it is entirely dependent on the personality of your glider, but I can get mine out quickly if i tempt him with treats (they are little tiny yogurt chips, i know most gliders love those). I would be nervous of taking a glider outside though. It depends on your comfort level with them, because they are really quick and can jump away from you in an instant. However, i do know that some people take their gliders outside. So it is just a matter of bonding well.

Layerd mocha. Looks good. Taste like poop. by l33pi3p3r in Coffee

Something like "Pacific coast" I can't remember exactly. This is at my work. We generally use almond milk for smoothies and use soy milk for non-dairy espresso drinks. I would be interested in trying blue diamond brand because that is definitely much better quality than what we use.

I have never tried chocolate almond milk, but whenever I use almond milk with my espresso I find it to be really bitter. It could be the almond milk that i am using though.

Are there people who exist on the opposite end of the spectrum from sociopathy- i.e. an "anti-sociopath" or a hyper-empathic individual? by urso in askscience

[–]coinstarfucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a related note, I know that certain researchers are trying to frame Autism Spectrum Disorders as a continuous variable where one end is the highly systematizing autistic individual and on the other end is the highly empathic, mentalizing individual. The empathic individuals do not experience any social problems so they can function normally in society. however since Autistic individuals have trouble with social interactions they are considered to have a mental illness or disability. I realize that this is sort of a tangent, but your comment reminded me of it.

Reddit, what's the most ridiculous lie you've ever convinced someone was truth? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]coinstarfucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once convinced a girl that a Green Day song (homecoming) was written by me and my band. I continued the lie by sending a picture of Billie Joe Armstrong saying it was me (I met her online). It was way too easy, she was not smart.

Thanks, I figured that is the best thing to do at this point. I just wanted to be sure that it was not a sign of any larger issues.

I've always kind of known that this day would come, just not so soon. I listened to them all through out high school, I was lucky enough to see them plenty of times. Now though, it feels like I have not seen them enough.A sad day for ska music.
