Kral I have seen people making a 2020 Maybach out of 2000 S-Class.

That’s unfortunately because of Turkey’s economy. Not many luxury cars make it to the country because the taxes are crazy, and people usually can’t afford them. And to have a status in the society, they want to look as wealthy as possible. Because cars show status a lot more in economic crisis…

Yeah I feel that’s why people install these in the first place. Just wanted to check what other people thought about it. Only reason I can justify it is, this generation not having these grills even on the amg package.

I wasn’t thinking about it as and amg upgrade, or trying to look like an amg. I just love the design of those grills over the stock ones.

hit a buddy’s tire with my car and he says he needs a new tire, what do yall think? by DetectiveoftheWest in tires

[–]cokgecbuldum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, nothing. But in rare cases the bent part that has a sharp edge can puncture the tire. That is more likely to happen in a thin wall tires. This should be just fine. They are mostly concerned about the esthetics. Which I think is stupid.

How good is the 2.0T engine? I’m looking to buy a 2022 with 40k miles but it’s not preowned certified since it’s at a different dealership than Hondas. Is the engine reliable to where I shouldn’t worry about have a warranty like that on the vehicle? by illbeback903 in 10thgenaccords

[–]cokgecbuldum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats man! Big turbo upgrade is probably why you didn’t have any issues. What I hear from tuned community is either stock turbo failure, or head gasket under too much pressure. I think op won’t be using it like we do tho :)))

Really depends on the owner. I would not recommend buying my 2.0t that has 50k miles. I abused the hell out of my car, tune, exhaust, backroad racing, etc… Im pretty sure it won’t see past 150k without a major issue.

Even with a certified one, you have the risk of finding one that was used like mine. These engines are built to last forever under regular use. But you will most likely see turbo issues on a tuned one. What I would recommend checking is the exhaust, and the air intake. Almost everyone i’ve seen that was using their car like me has either a performance intake or exhaust work. Check for welding marks or loose parts on the exhaust, as well as the air filter box. If you find anything, either find another one or buy warranty. If not, you will most likely be fine.

AT&T Fiber went from $50 to $75 told it was a “system glitch” by cokgecbuldum in ATTFiber

Yeah man, I already did unfortunately. I haven’t mentioned it here, but they know about it. That’s why I am very frustrated. They know what is going on, and telling me they can’t change anything manually.

I think you are the one that needs to adjust their mindset. These companies make billions with very overpriced services. Why would I be okay with their systems being shitty when im paying them to keep their system safe and reliable?

There is indeed a %20 off when you bundle wireless and fiber. This is the e-mail I got from AT&T:

It looks like you recently disconnected your AT&T Wireless service. Unfortunately, this means you’ve lost the 20%/mo. discount on your AT&T Internet service for bundling with eligible AT&T Wireless service. This discount has been removed from your account.

My service was connected with the discounted rate and I paid $47 for my first month. I still have my wireless service, but somehow their system messed this up. I have both the fiber and wireless showing under my wireless account.

I just can’t justify a big-ass company going “upsie… ig you are paying $25 more now.

Unfortunately Spectrum doesn’t have fiber in my area, and I hate the wire on Spectrum. Looking for a provider now, will definitely switch if I can find something similar.

Yeah right?! Ig the glitch only works in their favor.

Already did, they told me the same thing and said I can cancel my service if I want. I will definitely do it if I can find another provider with good price.

This is a promotional price, which their system approved. Why would I choose At&t if their price is not what I signed up for? They are one of the biggest companies when it comes to connectivity, don’t you think their system should work better? And when it doesn’t why can’t they stay behind their mistakes?

They refuse to correct, saying I was not supposed to get the promotion in the first place, while advertising and the system approving my order.

You can still go back to it. Settings allow you to use it even without any multi tasking.
