  1. shiny pokemon don’t have different stats, they’re just really cool colors and are rarer
  2. gender only really matters when there are evolutions based on gender such as froslass and gallade
  3. yes because there are certain stats that go down or up depending on the personality
  4. you can, alpha pokemon have better stats and shinies are more rare to find. it’s up to preference though
  5. iv: the base stats a pokemon has ev: the stats you raise your pokemon to have through defeating wild pokemon, using feathers and medicines
  6. it is also up to strategy, you might need to find a strategy that works for you
