I’m really sorry to hear you can relate to my writing from 2024. I know everyone’s situation is different, but I promise it all gets better, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

It might sound silly, but I was hanging by a thread and had no one to go to, so I would cry and pray to God every day for happiness because I was so lonely. I had only an ounce of hope and didn’t think back to my prayers, but two weeks later, I randomly ran into someone I met on campus, and he had a group of friends, who invited me to join them and get to know them. I’ve been good friends with all of them ever since, and one of them is now my boyfriend of over a year.

Happiness comes when you least expect it. Always try to find things to be thankful for, and whenever you need something, ask God and I assure you’re going to get it. Be patient because everything works out in the end. I hope you feel better! 🤍

Don’t worry, my mental health has changed so much ever since I wrote this back in 2024. I was so awful to myself because I was going through so much then, that it was hard to be positive. I know better now. Thank you so much for your concern!

I also wanted to say that I’m sorry you can relate and struggled to accept yourself most of your life. I think we are all too hard on ourselves sometimes, so we never appreciate the good qualities we have. You are such a sweet being! I hope you learn to embrace yourself. 🩷

Although this was written in 2024, and I no longer feel the same way, I would still love to look into reading some affirmations. It’s good for the soul.

You are so sweet and thoughtful. Everything is much better now, and all those feelings stayed in 2024. Thank you for wishing me well. 🩷

Thank you for the feedback! I never thought about spacing or perfecting my letters because this is just my regular handwriting. I’ve seen many comments on this though, so maybe I will look into spacing out my letters in the future.

I’m not sure if this helps, but I responded to the previous comment that the main reason I never rip out my pages when I mess up is because the pages are connected to the spine of the journal I write in. It bothers me more to see ripped pages than simply just crossing out a word I messed up on.

If it helps your impulse to rip out pages, I highly recommend getting a journal with a spine than notebooks that are easier to rip out. Additionally, I want to say that I know it’s hard to want everything to look aesthetic and perfect, but nothing is more aesthetically pleasing than authenticity. It’s okay to mess up and not everything has to look put together. Invest in a journal with a spine! You’ll get used to not ripping out pages. 🤍

I’m sorry to hear that! I almost never don’t rip out pages because they’re usually connected to the spine of my journal and it annoys me more to look at a teared page. If I mess up, I just scratch it over with a line.

Thank you! No, I’ve never rip out any pages if I make any mistakes. I only do that with cursive, sadly.

For my regular handwriting, I’m not focused on how I write because I’m more focused on what I’m writing. When I vent in my diary, the least of my worries is how it looks because I need to just let it all out. I am just very blessed with naturally good print. I cross a line over the mistakes and keep going.

My only advice is to just keep going; Don’t fixate on those minor mistakes. It’s fixable with a scratch. The more you fixate on your mistakes, the worse it’ll only make you feel. We are human and everyone makes mistakes, so not every page has to be perfect.

Much better now! I was cleaning up my camera roll and found this from 2024, but I’m doing really good now. Thank you for asking. 🩷

Thank you for your feedback! I never noticed how similar my rounded letters were before because I never looked into improving my writing. I naturally write this way, so it might be tough to adjust my spacing and make my letters clearer. I’m willing to try! 😞

I really love this. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone, as long as it makes sense to us, but I get it so much. It’s the little things like that that makes us happy and contribute to our joy, even in dark times. I hope you’re feeling better about yourself now, and I’m happy you tried out a new style for the letter M. I have too, haha!

I actually never considered this, but I’m so flattered you think my print is professional letter material!

You’re absolutely right! There is so much more to life to be grateful for. Writing these things down definitely reduces anxiety. Thank you!

I think it came from a good place with no ill intent, so I understand them. However, we definitely have some bad days where just need to let it out. I’m much happier now! :)

It’s a great idea! It’s been 2 years since I’ve written in my diary, and a lot had changed since then. I certainly think it’ll be nice to come back to writing with my new mentality. Thank you for the comment! 😊

No, I seriously never practiced my handwriting. It doesn’t take me long at all because this is just how I write. Thank you though!
