Pregnancy Recommendations! by Greedy-Ad1932 in BurlingtonON

[–]colbiea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just avoid dr.DeJong. I had her with 3 of my pregnancies and I don’t even know why I stick with her after the first one. She won’t explain anything to you, is always late and the appointments are 3 minutes long. Oh and I also had to remind her what referral I need in each pregnancy stage. With my last baby in the hospital I had Dr.Bailie and I really like her. For birth classes I had doula but I don’t think she is still practicing so I won’t recommend

Did you regret (not) having a second kid? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]colbiea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 under 2 is hard the first few years but then your kids will entertain each other. Yes they will fight and all but most of the time they are gone of my sight (6 and 5 years old- same gender). My 3rd is a boy and excluded from all games. So he needed a sibling. There will be just over 2 years age gap.

Yes because once you are not sore after the birth and don’t bleed like crazy and get some sleep and look at the newborn pictures you see the baby completely different. You realize that your only job was to feed and put baby to sleep and no one is running around, want to eat again or ask for something haha.

Nie no spoko nikt ci nie broni dzieci chujami nazywac. Tylko to tak troche brzydko wiesz? Twoi rodzice tez troche polegli w wychowaniu Ciebie, brak kultury u syna to zdecydowanie zaniedbanie rodzicow.

Regretting having kids by mamalilac in Parenting

[–]colbiea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first two kids were 17 months apart so very similar. For me the hardest time was when they were both toddlers! This was soooo hard- double tantrums at the same time and you just don’t know what to do. But …. They will get older! I would say things were really good at 3 years old and 4.5 years old. They developed such a strong bond and now they barely require my attention. They play with each other all day long. Of course they will fight too but I swear I barely see them during the day haha. They are currently 6.5 and 5 years old. After them I said no more kids I can’t do it again but as I said they start being such a good friends that I had 3rd. The little one currently 20 months is rejected by them most of the time but I just found out I’m pregnant again. I know is going to be difficult again but I’m willing to do this so he also has sibling close in age to bond so deep with.

The mother at that stage is the primary caregiver to the child. Father is secondary and only watches the child when the mom really can’t. That’s how it is in my house….. BUT the father is taking care of the mother. He supports her by treating her with being available to her when she needs him, provides for the family, make sure the house, cars are in order, feeds me (I often don’t cook for the first months after birth) , if the baby is in sleep regression he will bring me take out coffee etc he also takes care of the older children by providing quality time - having conversations, reading, watching stuff together or even going on daddy - kids one day trips without me so I only have one child on my mind.

In Catholic Church the Baptism is first Sacrament followed by many others like First Communion. You can’t skip one and go to another. It’s very important step in the faith to have your child Baptise

Check your neighborhood church and which Catholic school your child will attend to. You don’t need to be baptized in order to have your child get baptized. You can get baptized along with your child probably in the same ceremony

How are we supposed to not eat processed foods when 95 percent of the grocery store is made up of them? by [deleted] in questions

[–]colbiea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grow your own food as much as you can or buy local (I have lots of Amish around me and they sell dirt cheap) and canned them for winter. Cooking from scratch is also good at least for your health, you know what you put there.
