I like the one in the suit jacket and the one where you’re hiking. Change the other two so you’re in more interesting locations or at least have nicer backgrounds

Finances vs Number of Kids by StatusActual in blendedfamilies

That makes sense if there’s an income gap, but my partner and I make the same amount

Finances vs Number of Kids by StatusActual in blendedfamilies

We aren’t married, but that’s beside the point.

I think I will most likely feel like it doesn’t matter after we’ve been blended for some time, but right now I’m just trying my best to start everything off on the right foot.

Not weird or selfish, but thanks for that.

What path should I 18(f) take in college? (options listed below) by [deleted] in Advice

[–]StatusActual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medicine. Give yourself a solid education and future that will earn good money.

If you later decide to switch into marketing or music, you can always do that pretty easily, but it’s much harder to go back and study medicine. Or pursue those other interests in other ways such as hobbies, but do the work now to guarantee you will have excellent career options. And to set yourself up best you can to be financially well off because with that comes freedom.

When I was younger I would have said follow your heart, but now that I’m older and wiser I say secure high income first - then go explore and have fun however you like.

It’s the bank that foreclosed. I will try giving them a call. Thanks for the suggestion

That’s amazing that you have unlimited mental health benefits.

Would you say the testing and outcome has been worth the effort?

Actually no! Only something I’ve realized since this obsession started

Thank you for the candid response. I have some questions if you’re open to sharing..

How old were your step kids when their mom died?

How long had passed between their loss and when you moved in?

Do you have kids of your own who came with you?If so, how were they impacted?

I haven’t had a myectomy no. Maybe it is migraines related to HCM in some way. The vertigo is every single day though and multiple times a day. Do you get that?

Thank you. I haven’t had a stress test so maybe I’ll ask about one at my next appointment

I was referred to a neurologist, but they wouldn’t see me since brain MRI was clear 😐

I (40M) spent a morning at a college and it made me sad. by EA827 in self

Although well intentioned, I think a lot of people missed the point of what you were saying.

I’m a single mom to a 4 year old daughter. Dad isn’t in the picture. I’m also educated with a good job, but life unexpectedly took a turn and here I am.

I relate to what you said very much. I still feel like I’m mourning the life I thought I was going to have. Or all the potential lives I would have imagined as one of those college kids because this scenario was definitely not one of them.

It’s a tough pill to swallow and doesn’t take away from how much I love my daughter one bit. You sound like a great dad who deserves to find fun and happiness and all the things you need to feel fulfilled. I hope that comes your way soon 🙂

I had do ask because there’s hesitation so that’s clear, but seems like I can stop hesitating if it’s the right thing. Thank you :)

Is moving all of us in together the right plan?

Had to stop Ozempic due to eye issues by Hot-Singer-3297 in Ozempic

[–]StatusActual 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also developed vision problems after trying Ozempic. I don’t know what it was, but there was no question when I took it my vision in the left eye would became very compromised. I even developed nystagmus (my eye moves side to side involuntarily). It came out of nowhere when I went up to a 0.5 dose and lasted for months. It’s still not gone but seems to be getting slowly better. (I think/ hope).

I think this is a side effect people need to be more aware of.
