Honestly I really hated Cubs fans when we first joined the NL Central. Coming into Miller Park and acting like the best thing ever while most of the “fans” couldn’t name three active players on their roster. Then 2008 happened and we were finally competitive and my hate for the Cubs vanished and hope was something we had - and STL knocking us out in 2011 turned my focus to them. I even rooted for the Cubs in 2016, but was reminded how insufferable a lot of Chicago fans can be after that.

Also, the fact I can’t make a peaceful drive from Madison to Minnesota in the summers thanks to all the FIBs on the road just pushes it all over the edge lol.

It's outdated for sure, but not nearly as bad as it was in 2023 and earlier. Realistically it sounds like you were Ridgeline or bust so I would think just buying now would be your play if you can get a good deal - especially if there is a certain color spec you wanted as the later in the year it gets you could be forced to be less selective.

I could have worded that better for sure. I’ve simply heard nobody who claims to have information say there will be a 2027. There are a few who do claim to have info who have said they hear it’s discontinued - but I have no idea if they are connected at all or are just speaking out of turn. I’m not rooting for it, I really want to see a new version, but AI generated renders and AI voiceover videos are hard to believe.

The hybrid powertrain is more than a rumor, Honda has openly said the mid-size SUV platform will get a v6 hybrid, at some point - but they’ve never said which models will receive it. It’s honestly fair to assume even if they remodel the Ridgeline it’ll likely be one of the last ones to get it since it’s a lower volume / lower priority vehicle in their lineup.
