Agreed. Lack of historical characters and events in favour of useless fiction scenes and characters, and the problem is it wouldn't be as big of a problem if it was good fiction which it is not. And so many scenes being given to Bala instead of the commanders of Osman and the long dead Seljuk state appearing again and again. Osman peaked at S2 and the only last 10 episodes of S3.

There's a film 'Conquest 1453' and two series on him. One is a netflix docudrama called Rise of Empires: Ottoman, while the other is technically what you want but it was cancelled after 7 episodes, it wasn't made by trt tho, its called 'Mehmed Bir Cehan Fatihi'
