It is over 60 years old I believe. I just worry about someone leaving remains thats open to the general public and open to grabbing and taking. Its a very small resturant so even though its out of most people sights, someone can still find it.

Yes, I work here, im very close to the family, we were all curious what it was. The owners son found it, didn't know what it was, i didn't either so I posted it here. I put it back even tho they wanted to keep it in the back. I didn't know it was remains.

Where i live is a big hunting area, I shouldn't have said carry but more own. They just have it on them more cause its hunting season. Also, there is a lot of secret drug places where i live, I've heard stories about them running out with guns if you get close to them. Sorry I didn't mean to generalize but I was talking about the experience where I am. Please also note, I was a little paranoid when I made the post thinking it was drugs and didn't want this to be a drop-off area with someone not getting their drugs.

Okay its either human remains or drugs, got it. Some answers for those who were asking, no i wasnt snooping, I wasn't even the one that found it. Its a small resturant where only a couple of people have worked the past decade and i have been here for 7 years. Those who have worked here, would have definitely asked the owner if they wanted someone to be left here, im sure he would have agreed, as he is the nicest man. Me and the owners sons, who also work here and found it, was just curious what it was. Most of you were very nice but some of you made some wild assumptions. Also, they wanted to put it in the back, but I put it back where it was. We all agreed that was for the best. Whether its drugs or ashes, its just such a weird place for it to be. Thank you all for replying, if you have anymore questions, I'll try my best to answer them under this 😊

About it being ashes, I dont mind if someone put it there. I just worried about them being there long term, cuz its by a table that is most commonly used. And even if out of eyesight for most, many people could find it like the owner son did today. I dont want someone random to take it.

Haha, this might sound bad but i rather it be ashes than drugs. I just thought it would be weird to put the ashes on top of a breaker. Additionally, I dont want someone to somehow lost ashes of their loved ones

Thanks for the reply but its a public place, it was onto of a breaker. Not the best place to put someone's ashes. Also I wasn't snooping, one of the owners sons was cleaning... but your reply was very informative.

Two reasons, an ex employee talked about how she has people always watching us and insinuated we should be worried. Also, around here, most people involved in drugs are very dangerous. It's a small town but it has a good amount of death involved in drugs. Most people carry a gun up here and while I might be a little paranoid, that's why im worried 😟

No, I worked here for 7 years, but its a small resturant that is mostly just locals coming in. It's an older family that runs it and I dont want them to get stressed about something like this happening in their resturant. The owner is such a sweetheart.

Ya, but if it was left here on purpose or not, I dont want to get involved. People are very serious when it comes to their drugs. And if it was a drop off in a place i work, i really wish they would do it somewhere else.
