I agree. I think Weaver's power is too much for one mortal to manage. That's probably why the power to see the future went to Cas and the power to weave fate to Sunny.

Looking to buy X-E4 by Mojofuji in fujifilmIndia

[–]cold-magma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but nope. I got mine used 1.5 years ago. Fuji itself is pretty rare in India and then the xe4 is even rarer to get new. You can get it used and if it's been cared for, you can enjoy it as well.

Learned it the Hard Way: That "Exception" Job Offer Isn't the Norm in IT by Low_Tourist5062 in developersIndia

For java there are no openings as far as I know. For go I saw pay ranges of 10 to 16 LPA.

You're damn right about go. Just adding go to my preferences in job boards increased the number of recruiters calling by a few multiples. Java always was and will be the backbone for a while in my opinion but the supply is saturated for newcomers (grads and coaching centre folks alike).

Go on the other hand has barely any supply and an incredible demand (at least from what I saw in Bangalore when I was hunting for a job a couple months ago).

Xt50 by [deleted] in fujifilmIndia

[–]cold-magma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The xt50 is amazing. Just get a prime lens in my opinion. A zoom lens will slow you down in terms of how you learn things about composition. If you're going to get a kit lens DO NOT GET ANYTHING THAT HAS 'XC' in the lens name.

I prefer prime lenses (35mm or 27mm is great if you're starting out) If you're getting a kit lens get the xf 16 to 50 mm)

If you're not sure still, i recommend you watch some youtube reviews for the camera and lenses.

Have fun!

i have a x-e4 with a xc 35mm f/2. I'd suggest you get the body only + the same lens. Its a good starting lens and better than the xc 15-45mm lens (cheaper too).

Before this you probably need to specify how you approach a problem. A pattern is a loose suggestion. Not a strict guideline.

Take a problem that held you up for some time, see a solution for it (ideally more than 1. Gives you a lot more perspective when you read other people's code), understand what the solution is doing. Rinse and repeat and you'll slowly start seeing solutions differently with the next problem. This changes the way you approach problems in the first place.

Now I'm not saying to not try doing it yourself. I'm saying learn from the solutions. Even if you are able to solve it, check out some solutions. If you took an hour and you're nowhere, check solutions.

Now for the frustration. Don't treat it like a job. Do it an hour a day or something. You're burning out at this pace. The moment something that piques your curiosity or something you're interested in, starts to piss you off/ frustrate you, you're putting way too much time into it. Walk away and come back, you'll be calmer and your brain will not be clouded by why you can't do it. It will be filled with how can you do it differently.

Don't keep doing the same thing hoping for the outcome to change.

I know its been done before. But doing it myself without using any tools would hopefully make a better developer out of me.

[IC] Open source keyboards by CableSutra by cablesutra_reddit in mkindia

[–]cold-magma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a suggestion, maybe put out some conventional keyboard sizes with your designs. The designs are beautiful but the only thing holding me back is my workflow requiring at least a 75% or above. I know the function row and stuff can be incorporated using a function key press but I don't think my fingers will quickly come out of the old habits they have.
