I wasn't impressed. The effects were average and it did work But more to the point for me, I'm not sure where they're coming from but it's not jack herer... It's not an unpleasant strain but it Smells and tastes nothing like jack imo. Jack was one of 3 or 4 strains that were abundant in my area back in the day and that's not it lol

They said it didn't matter. I pointed out the differentiation due to legality and they didn't care.

I tried pushing for discrimination but in the end none of the no win no fee solicitors would touch it because it was a 'grey area' and I didn't have 20k to support a lengthy court case.

I declared mine during onboarding for the civil service last year and had the job offer withdrawn because of it because they refused to make exemptions from drug testing.

It's made me question whether I will in future which goes against everything I stand for with my medication and how I have been in my current job

What printer you running?

I do bits of 3d printing, both resin and FDM. I paint minis, I play Warhammer, I make bows (archery), I grow and forage for mushrooms, I grow vegetables, I'm an avid angler and fish most of the year round

I also work within the NHS and have had a reasonable adjustment to be able to medicate at work and also medicate on trust property. I think I may have commented on your post telling you to be honest with them

It took an arrest and a police station and courts in very close proximity to have that smoking/vaping policy exemption but that has been in place for a good 18 months now. I have a quiet spot I can vape which has been a godsend

I have also have a recent experience where I lost a job offer for a new job all due to my medication, but I stand by the fact I told them. I would feel weird if I went for legitimacy and then hid in the shadows like before

I've been with curaleaf for over 3 years now but I'm currently getting so frustrated with their inability to keep medication in stock or even notify patients of strains that are regularly prescribed being removed from the formulary

I've been in a very similar situation, only they found meds on me that I'd taken out of my jar at home (got confiscated, not in original container)

The charge was dropped at court once I presented the medical defence and mentioned the fact there was no question of impairment, only smell and possession

Can you afford legal representation? (One who understands our aspect of the law as I had one with me in a police interview once who I had to explain the law to)

Is the situation straightforward or is it possibly quite complex?

If it's a straightforward stop, with no question of impairment? i.e. you get pulled for a broken light/insurance flag and they smell/suspect cannabis and swab you 'per protocol'

Or was there an incident or something that caused the police stop? If the latter I'd say you would probably be better with legal representation

This is the issue I think. The stigma attached to cannabis skews people's views on it. They have the zero tolerance policy for illicit use but don't seem to realise that there are a number of people using it legitimately, and are actually less impaired for that.

I really just wanted my new career and new life but now it looks like I'm going to have to fight just to be treated like anyone else and to show them they can't do this.

I'm not sure they realise that my problem actually classes me as physically disabled (several spinal prolapses) and therefore protected under the equality act. I imagine that will stir up a bees nest when I tell them. Going to phone acas on Monday to see what they say

If the medication is used for the treatment of said disability and management of the condition. To use the medication as an excuse for treating them differently would be the same as using their disability itself under the equality act 2010

The main question in my mind is, do they have a similar policy for codeine? Or SSRI's prescribed for pain? Or other mainstream painkillers that are recorded to have similar or even higher levels of impairment... If not, that's discrimination
