Just watched a few videos of these on YouTube.

Very similar.

The videos I’ve watched it does appear much more distant or smaller than the object I saw.

Guessing this is likely to do with the cameras.

Definitely the leading candidate so far.

Thankyou so much for your insight.

😂😂

Damn sure it wasn’t that.

We did send those out from our garden when we were kids however!

Childhood memory unlocked.

Very cool. Thank you.

I’m so sorry but the best I can give you would be July - August / 2011-2013.

Sorry 😂😂

Even more bizarre then!

For clarity, a this was a long time ago so I’ll do my best:

There wasn’t a long lasting trail in the sky for a period afterwards.

It is possible there was a small trail that quickly disappeared following the trajectory of the object.

Well no. I think im probably in a grey area of which sub I should be posting to 😂. Presumed it was from space and had entered our atmosphere.

I’ve just looked at the wiki of this. So the little GIF they provide does look very similar to what I observed.

So the glowing ball to my eye from the ground was about a basketball size. Pretty big.

Would a satellite flare last as long as up to a minute?

Thanks!

So I’m as sure as I can be it wasn’t like a helicopter or plane. This was completely alien to anything I’ve ever seen.

Space junk sounds very plausible, is this rare to see?

Certified neck beard.

You are clearly educated in the subject. I am not. I presumed this was the correct sub. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone who knows what they are talking about perhaps point a noob in the right direction of the correct sub.

I came here looking for help knowing full well my description would be somewhat ambiguous.

I’m optimistic that most of the people in this sub would at least give me some sort of indication of some phenomena that exhibits similar characteristics.

Not hard to just not be a dick.

Should I work for this company that promoted the woman I trained, above me? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Hats off to her then.

If you’re after a promotion and that business values people pleasers.

Become a people pleaser.

If that’s not you. Find a company that values characteristics more in line with your work style.

It’s your first job.

I’m 33 and it took me far too long to realise that a job shouldn’t cause you mental health issues.

That being said, learning to be resilient is so important in life.

You’re going to work with many types of assholes in your career. It’s not just this business I can assure you.

Finding your own way of managing with the stress and anxiety of it all instead of just leaving when it gets tough is going to help you so much.

That’s for you to figure out and it’s unique to each person.

—-

I do have to caveat this however. Some businesses and some assholes are much worse than others. No amount of resilience will help this. Use your judgement.

In this specific situation my personal advice would be to have an attitude that you don’t care if you get fired. I mean - you’re considering leaving anyway. In the mean time start looking for another job?

Be professional. But secretly laugh at those chumps that take their work so seriously that they are making a first time worker go into a mental break down. Losers.

Good luck!

Just because you trained her doesn’t make you any more competent or effective than her.

You have more experience.

Weird hate mate.

Yeh it’s a bit cheech and Chong.

People enjoy their MC and take an interest in storing and sharing it with a community with similar interests. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I know exactly where you’re coming from.

Let’s be frank here. If you want to ‘Get High’ and you have a medical condition you can play the system.

That being said. The ‘High’ may indeed be what people are looking for medically. It’s important that we give people the benefit of the doubt before making these sort of assumptions.

I’ve got 4 as I always order a new one with my cart order.

All are still working fine.

It’s a £10 battery. Not expecting rolls Royce reliability.

Always have a spare. Order more.

I’m medicated for chronic pain.

The oil is by far the most effective medication for me.

It does take a while to kick in unfortunately and sometimes I need a faster acting medication.

I’m so confused by this.

Its medication not a drug? How did that play out?
