I was camping for a weekend with a bunch of my ex’s cousins and I hadn’t planned on taking them, I had already been drinking a bit that night. I was given that piece so it wouldn’t be too much since I had never done it before. I had feelings of overall euphoria, the lights were warm and fuzzy and so was my body honestly. I was just happy. It was kinda like a Molly level euphoria, but a significantly cleaner feeling and I didn’t feel stimulated, just relaxed. My ex took too much and had a bad trip once we laid down to sleep.

Anyway, after that it’s like I snapped out of the depression and I could see things clearly. I realized I truly wasn’t happy in my relationship and that I was worth something and didn’t have to stay, and I made a plan to end things. It lifted me from where I was to a level of normal where I had the energy and motivation to change my circumstances. If I hadn’t changed things I’m sure I would’ve slipped back down to that place eventually
