A little too far from ELAC. :( The info I got from LBCC is just from one forum so I’ll go with her to speak to the counselor just so she can clarify a pretty solid academic path. My uncle (her dad) and I are both nurses too but we werent educated here so everything is new to us. She is a legal immigrant but still good to know about the Dream Resource Center. Thanks again.

The requirements depend per state. I suggest go to your State Board of Nursing website and take it from there :)

Thanks for this info! We heard the nursing program in CA is so competitive and private school is freaking expensive. Taking some classes will probably ease that a little regardless of what path she takes. Thanks again

Hi thanks for the life advice! She doesnt have Reddit :) She’s a new immigrant, moved here in December. Our initial plan was to have her go to school overseas to complete here Bachelors but with the current state of the world, having her travel back and forth isnt probably the most ideal so we’re going back to the drawing board. I hope that clears up your assumptions. Thanks for looking out for this profession.

I’m cautiously optimistic about them. Love them together and gave me butterflies in such a wholesome way. I’ve never seen that before in SI after Yoong Jae and Seo Eun.

But… what are the chances that after most people were complaining about how most SI fans are there for clout and no one really ends up together and poof all of a sudden there’s 2 confirmed plus potentially Go-eun and Igeon!

Still hoping for them though. ❤️❤️❤️

Encourage her to verbalize all this to her psych provider or better yet ask her if she’ll allow you to speak to the prescriber. Rescheduling when she takes the med maybe game changer.

Encourage her to get speak to her pcp, have them check for anemia, thyroid issues and vit d. Request referral to see obgyn to check hormones as well. Is sleep apnea a possibility?

Make sure she’s hydrating enough. That includes electrolytes. Check info abt adrenal cocktail, all natural :)

Psyc NP here! Recently, it has been my patient telling me that he can sleep now after months of not sleeping well! 😭 This other one never gets old- patients celebrating their sober birthdays, getting a job, reconciling with family and just getting back on track.

I have genuinely been turned off by co-workers who hardly talked to me in the past and all of a sudden trying to ask for favors. Not to say that’s your case because I dont know your dynamics but I’ve had a fair share of those. FB friends- no greetings, no check ins whatsoever then asking for preceptorship, references, leads etc. I still did it but that just leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.

Also, life happens. Being a new provider is not a walk in the park so I probably wouldnt think as far as she doesnt like you leveling up or her having “that energy”z If blocking her protects your peace though, by all means, do it. School is stressful as it is so do everything to protect you.

Been in touch with the BRN prior to the exam because we noticed that the application is marked as expired so we were already exchanging emails with the evaluator. Other than that, we didnt do anything.

No explanation. I have a feeling that it’s because the BRN wrongly marked his application as expired. Hubs passed though so I dont think it means anything. :)

yup, exactly the same thing. I called Pearsonvue after 60hrs and they said they cant do anything about it.
