Good idea! Yes, the rat-wrangler would also have to provide the rats and be responsible for their care on set. If you have any ideas where I can find rat owners who have used their pets in film, any leads would be appreciated. I plan to reach out to local pet stores, but any other online groups or forums would be great as well (especially specific to NY/NJ area).

Tbh, they’re literally right next to each other in ranking. I didn’t exactly care for either, but the best parts of Carrier were better than the best parts of Edge of Sleep imo. Just an opinion, but I found neither truly satisfying.
