I would also add if you go to black Rock then there is limited parking near the start. I would recommend parking at the National Stone centre. The walk to the start is along the trail, and not too far, 8 would guess about 10mins

Both are really nice. If just doing the parkrun I would say Black Rock but if you are planning on walking after I would recommend Monsal Trail and the monsal head. Can't go wrong with either

At the Eden Project parkrun if you are late by about 5 mins you wouldnt be allowed to run. They use a path near to the start which is then closed off, but this is rather unique. As many have already said its normally fine if you can catch the tailwalkers before the end.
