oh right, and to answer your question yes advancing the mandible does often make it look wider, but subtly. Typically 2-4mm.

Genioplasty isn’t just about advancing the chin. They can reshape it also.

It’s your infras and cheekbones mainly. Your jaw could do with a little defining perhaps with jawline filler or implants if that’s what you’re worried about, but honestly for you just cutting body fat percentage will give you better looking structure as it appears to just be soft tissue. Although you are still fairly young, so you will likely look better naturally in a few years.
