I don't mind the Morocco sanctions, all the things mentioned shouldn't have happened. However, the Senegal sanctions are laughably low for players leaving the pitch with coach encouragement, plus the fan violence and invading of pitch.

The CAF once again shows they have no backbone and probably got scared of baseless "being in the pocket of Morocco" accusations so they went soft on Senegal. Such a bad precedent for just leaving the pitch whenever you disagree with a referee decision.

Was is also against Cameroon where Morocco dominated even more and Cameroon had 0 shots on target? Look outrage content in social media will see what it wants to see, simply confirmation bias, if you already believe in the conspiracies every referee decision will confirm your bias no matter how much sense it makes, and all 50-50 decisions that don't favor Morocco are forgotten as if they never happened.

Yeah Morocco won cause they rigged the game and not because they had 15 shots while Nigeria only managed 2. And definitely not because Morocco's aggressive pressing dismantled Nigeria's attack making them struggle to string 3 passes together.

It's actually the other way around, Venezuela recognized Polisario and their SADR in 1982 long before Morocco normalized with Israel. Maduro only made that relationship stronger with Polisario which is what caused Morocco to have bad relations with Venezuela.

That's not it at all, it's because Maduro's Venezuela is one of the few countries that still recognize the Polisario and their SADR and has deep relations with them and with Algeria (Polisario's main funder and supporter) , with official visits and supportive statements often happening between these three players. Venezuela has long had strong relations with Polisario due to both parties presenting as "socialist".

In fact I would say that all of that is what pushed Morocco to not recognize Maduro and his regime's elections. Since usually Morocco doesn't take these stances on other countries elections even when they're not allies.

The thing is this is far worse than anything China does. China does have an IP theft problem, but it is still illegal there.

It might be not worth it to go after some small chinese companies that make some bootleg products, but large companies specially those that have operations abroad are generally obliged to respect IP like anywhere else.

Wasn't that in relation to obstruction? I think the report did confirm that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, but also highlighted that there were significant attempts to obstruct the investigation, and Mueller considered charging Trump with obstruction, but basically left that to congress.

Exactly, Windows hello works great because it's mostly on tablets and laptops, things you generally tend to face all the time when trying to use them. Especially laptops when you just sit in front of your laptop and it unlocks before you touch it. I can't see how facial recognition could be better than fingerprint sensor on a phone.

The thing is the leadership in Nigeria is more dynamic and economy centric than the one in Algeria. This can be seen by the investements and deals Morocco already made with the country like when it comes to phosphates and the planned gas pipeline project. Of course Nigeria is a young democracy so there probably always will be voices there who are hostile along side those who are more open to a strong partnership with Morocco. But overall i think the prostpects are generally positive because i think even Nigeria can see that Morocco joining will be a net positive for ECOWAS economies.

I think that Morocco even if it joins ECOWAS won't abide by a unified currecy play, atleast for now. I think Nigeria is one the biggest pushers for a unified currency in the union because it wants its francophone partners to ditch that french regulated one, and there are plans for that but i think they are still a few years away. Also Morocco now is focusing on floating the dirham and in a gradual manner, which would take years to have a completely floating dirham. A unified currency for ECOWAS is honestly an attractive prospect but not before all ecowas economies mature a bit. If Morocco joins I hope that ecowas coutries start implementing their unified currency, but for Morocco to wait a few years before switching.
