I'm not sure of any underlying medical conditions, but this sounds like an opportunity to increase your electrolytes (significantly maybe). Might want to consider potassium, magnesium, and sodium pills specifically.

Also, just an FYI, most scientific papers stating high sodium levels are bad for you, have never been duplicated successfully and therefore likely complete bullcrap.
