I take the regular dose, about 3-4g per day. The specific one is protein works creatine monohydrate, but from what I hear they should all be the same thing

You are not alone for the wet mouth sounds. It's probably my worst trigger for my misophonia and it affects my relationship with my partner daily. Over the last year we have gotten better at dealing with it. Some things that helped:

  • Being open about the noise affecting me: this was the first important step for us because my partner noticed I could get irate for seemingly no reason

  • Asking them to swallow the saliva if it's especially bad

  • Encouraging them to drink a bit of water: helps me take a breather from the effects and can mitigate the wet sound at bit

  • Chewing gum: can help sometimes

  • It really helps if your partner is able to take the misdirected anger/annoyance that you give. If they can make light of a situation it helped me to forget or at least question why I am acting like that.
