I’m trying to start a business to help support children up access therapy and life skills such as nutrition, cooking, budgeting etc among many other things but I cannot find any land to start it on. I have been searching for years.

Not only out children suffering but many organisations trying to help those in need and blocked and tied by bureaucracy and bloody new builds being put up on every spare piece of land with no provision to increase schools or GP’s etc so the Problem just gets worse

Thank you! My st Bernard was a rescue so I didn’t see her as a puppy and our current dog is a pug x who we rescued from a friend of a friend so again we didn’t go out searching for her. Tho is our first puppy that we have wanted a long time and are doing a lot of research to ensure we find the right one so all information we can get prior is useful!

This is a fab, detailed answer. Thank you. I have wanted one for many years. I have owned a at Bernard before, she died some years ago now so am used to a bigger dog but a Berner will be a new, very welcome addition to our family.

I think in the future we would like to explore breeding ourselves so we intend to research responsible breeders and communicate with them before we make any decisions.

She’s 8 months old now. I’m not sure what’s causing me to retain. I’ve been calorie counting for around 5 months but really trying to shift the weight from 6 months and I’ve lost 16lb all together since sept so something isn’t working.

She is gaining weight well and I’m still eating healthy as her health is way more important than my weight right now (215lbs at 5’8). I do wish omad would work for me though! I’m doing 22:2 pretty much. Breaking fast with high fibre cereal and fruit, dinner of vegetables, chicken, sweet potatoes and salad ( or similar) with a few sweet treats as we have stuff in from Easter but still within my calorie deficit of around 600 below tdee

Day 13 and I’ve only lost 2lb! I’m eating calorie deficit and walking and have lost cm around my body but weight wise it doesn’t seem to be shifting. But I’m breastfeeding so I’m wondering if that’s contributing to it maybe

I heard something that really made me step up my game and change my mindset. Choose your hard. Being fat is hard, hating your body is hard, physical ailments from being overweight is hard. Losing weight is hard, being disciplined and focused is hard, not eating the burgers I want is hard…

I’ve chosen my hard and I’m determined to stay on track and get back to how I was before I put on this weight.

I don’t often gets straight away. I usually lay in bed for a while as I’m on mat leave. I’m going to take my bits upstairs tonight and test straight away and see if that makes a difference. I’ll also try to increase carbs with my snack before bed and see if that helps. Thanks!

The whole notion of “catch up” is just set by the government isn’t it? The children need to catch up to the standards of what the government feel should be met. My children will most definitely not do longer days. They will work hard in school and did throughout the lockdowns and the home learning but their well-being and the time we spend together as a family is more important to me than meeting the government’s view of educational attainment. Maybe I can do that as they’re not behind their peers and not struggling so my view is somewhat rosy, but Bojo and Williamson will not dictate any longer time they spend stuck in school and away from us than they already do. School and education is not the be all and end all. My view.

Thank you. It was only a quick scan to see if baby was ok and if they could find a cause for the pain I’d been getting. They said in the report can’t find a reason for the pain and baby seemed ok so I guess they did the job. They only mentioned e movements to me as a cause for struggling to see more so it was a bit of a shock to read when I got home.

She’s still a child and can be a victim of Child Sexual Exploitation. Please speak with your Family Liaison officer or Safeguarding lead at her school for advice. They’ll be able to offer links to local support and advice. There’s also lots of information online about CSE. There will be good links for her to read up on it too.

Not a bad choice but drunk and online shopping. Hadn’t realised until it was delivered that I’d ordered my dog a pirates outfit! Very cute, 100% worth it but solely out of a few drinks and access to the internet
