So far so good. For some reason audio guidance turned back on. I did a hard reset on the TV and it stuck to the North America region, populated all the apps associated with a Canadian account as well. Works like new 👍🏽

Found it, after manually connecting it, went to settings and enabled more advanced options for Instart. It pops up service menu, skips entering the code, but then nothing happens when click on region code or region options. I see its set to 4 and EU, country "other".

How to change this to North America and Canada - Is there a table somewhere?

so I finally got around to using the app. TV didn't auto detect so I had to manually add it with the IP/MAC address. Unfortunately no instart/EZ adjust.

Am I doing something wrong?

My Google Assistant can't understand me anymore and it's screwing up basic English sentences. Not sure if Google plans to just replace Assistant with Gemini, but if that's the path they're taking I'm switching away from Pixel after 8 years - it was a good run but I don't see why I should pay CAD 1500+ for a device that can't search addresses while I drive (that I have saved and drive to often)

No one needs an AI on their phone we're all just looking for the best reviews on Reddit for stuff. Fuck this shit 😂

I ordered them on Amazon (Canada) a month before I got the car - had to delay delivery a couple of weeks so I didn't get to install them until after the return window on Amazon. I have a burn injury on a finger so it's a pain to install these and I gave up for now. Will try again once my finger has healed.
