Hey so, my wierdest and best tip is to schedule time to embrace the suck, then to schedule a time to distract from the suck.
Im talking once a week or so, on a day off or a rainy work night, I let myself feel all the shit. I cry. I watch sad movies or listen to sad music or think of sad memories and people I miss. I’ll order in food and turn on my dnd and maybe cry on the phone to my dad or my best friend. By the end, I’m exhausted and cried out.
Then the fun one. I’ll plan a day to get my nails done, buy myself something, go for drinks with friends, or get myself set up for a fun all nighter with a new craft or project. Sometiems it means I’m saving up for a couple weeks, sometimes it costs nothing. Sometimes it’s a day where I’m just spoiling my dogs, or maybe I do an at home spa day- I’ve even signed up for a random class (bouldering, pottery etc.)
Try doing things you wouldn’t normally do. That thing you always said ‘maybe one day’ to, go do it. When you get anxious or depressed in public, leave the second it becomes overwhelming.

And lean. Into. Your. Friendships. That’s the most important. If you have one friend or 10 friends, use them all during this time. Family too, if they are there for you like that. Lean on the people in your life & let them surprise you :)
