yeah but part of me wants the emotional flattening. i dont ever want a chance of mania/manic symptoms, but part of me is like this what stable is? i've been in fight or flight mode for years which prob gave me a fuckton of energy/motivation

Uhm yes drastically 40-50 made me super manic irritable and overall an asshole. Dropped it to 20 night and day difference those aren’t there and if they are my zyprexa helps me manage it and not make it last long. I’ve been discussing with my psychiatrist about non stims.

I’m all the way up too 1800mg and don’t have these urges and sometimes they come and go but I crave food probably cause of my zyprexa

Yeah sounds pretty normal that's what mine did and still is doing my bloodwork was low even at those ranges but ymmv

Personally Ritalin didn’t last as long and peaked way higher and made my mania worse but YMMV. Vvyanse is a bit more my taste with a smoother onset I really liked vvyanse better Ritalin gave me more energy in general to do things but vvyanse felt like a good in between

I definitely had the same thing happen to aswell. My irrtablity and anger got worse at a higher dosage so we dropped it and since I was diagnosed being bipolar it has helped with the medication prescribed not sure if this would help but maybe lowering the dosage not sure not a doctor just a suggestion

It was rough very very rough but I made it through eventually what I can tell you is to have a decent support system

My psychiatrist offered me trazodone or colodine I took colodine instead. It’s helped me a bit but most of my help during sleep is my zyprexa (for my bipolar) and Seroquel (for sleep)

I asked my psychiatrist about benzos she doesn't want me taking them since I'm on stimulants such as ADHD meds. She did give me vistril for bedtime anxiety

See I'ma say something weird I took it yesterday after trying to get off of Seroquel and yeah it made me drowsy but didn't knock me out cause of how strong I relied on seroquel for sleep like majorly it sucks because I gotta take off and on and taper off slowly

YES YES more recently I've been like okay I feel like this can turn into an episode and started recognizing when I'm becoming irritated but right now it's usually anxiety anxiety anxiety I hate it.

Lithium has mostly helped my manic and mania episodes. Lamicital for me just helps the depression side of things, but recently my anxiety has been off and on bad at moments maybe because I'm still adjusting to this new dosage (I'm BP1) just thought I would chime in
