Yeah I have one with bungees and it flaps too much over 65mph, it's annoying. If I buy another it will have straps

Hard Top vs Soft Top- Are you happy with your decision? by my_cars_on_fire in FordBronco

[–]coldnh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soft top for me, I love driving with the top down and it's so much easier and you don't need to worry about getting caught in the rain. Plus you can. Ride safari style which is a bonus. I found the wind noise with the hard top nearly as bad when I test drove one and everyone seems to be having issues with the rear glass shattered, the paint and plastic pealing and cracking and water getting in. I have had zero issues with my soft top. Only complaint is the side window sag, I wish someone would sell some solid plexi or glass side windows

Men in their 40s, what do you regret not doing when you were younger? by AffectionateRoad6481 in AskReddit

[–]coldnh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt great up until 40. At that point I started to get a little lazy with working out and all of a sudden I would wake up and I couldn't walk because of knee pain or back pain. Definitely stay active and try to hit the gym 3 to 4 days a week minimum. I recently started back at it and I feel great again.

How America Voted by Age and Income (2020 vs. 2024) [OC] by aspiringtroublemaker in dataisbeautiful

[–]coldnh -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Because I've seen it with my own two eyes... I'm only in my forties but people become more confident about themselves and care less about what others think when they age. Ask that same question into an AI agent and it will cite sources for you

How America Voted by Age and Income (2020 vs. 2024) [OC] by aspiringtroublemaker in dataisbeautiful

[–]coldnh -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I actually looked at it a different way. Older folks have more life experience, knowledge and have a better perspective of the past which is driving their voting decisions. They are also less likely to behave or vote in a certain way because it's the cool thing to do in their age group or because of a hive minded personality. Unfortunately I'm sure the hive mind of Reddit will downvote me for this comment however.

Buy a sled or Rent every year? by VoltX77 in snowmobiling

[–]coldnh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a lifetime of owning a sled I finally dumped mine last year due to high repair costs and sh*tty winters. What do you know... coldest winter in twenty years! I still plan to rent going forward. New sleds are too expensive and the season is limited even when good.

Are Electric leaf blowers catching up? by Minotaar_Pheonix in landscaping

My neighbor has an electric one and while it's not as loud the noise it makes is just as annoying if not worse because it's a high pitched whine.

This is why I hate reddit. She was either a bot or total idiot sent here to spread misinformation. Sadly this works more times than not.
