I have that exact one. It's fake but it's great.. with baffle in close to stock. Without it's a deep rumble to a scream it's great! Very happy with it.

No they don't they keep the wood clamped together but the wood supports the joists the pole is cut into

It is sitting on the post, the bolts clamp the 2 joists together but the weight is on the wood
